How do you choose a main?

She also has bullshit normals -_- I picked Chipp originally because I wanted speed, then went to Millia because I didn't want THAT much speed, then picked up Zappa because I didn't like dying in two combos and he's fuckoff weird. Here, I'll pick your character for you. Play Faust. He's got amazing zoning, he can be weird, and he screams Donkey Punch! What more could you want?

Of course he is. There are only 4-6 characters out of 23 that you could reasonably argue are worse (though I think 5). Thus he is below mid tier.

Why am i being trashed for ENJOYING the EX versions. I like to play as the originals too. And as for mastering, i may have use the wrong word but i do fairly use every1 to my advantage. And ive had GG series since GGX so idk why i would trade any of them in.

You really shouldn't be choosing a character based on how complicated they are. Every character in gg has a ridiculous amount of depth.

But seriously. Ryzol, if you want a solid character with lots of power but doesn't die too easily, I'd suggest Sol, Order Sol, Maybe even Jam, Robo-Ky if you like them. But ABA's whole deal is glass cannon. So unless you ACTUALLY like that kind of thing, especially with her, then I'd suggest you keep looking.

How i chose my characters was by how I actually play fighting games in general. Personally, I play more of a defensive game, so naturally Baiken became my main. Lol, I used to start off by maining Jam in X2, but that quickly dissipated. As for Bridget, he's a trap lol.
