Tier lists are based on opinions and backed up by data to make the most accurate assessment of where they place on a list from top to bottom. Note the word 'Opinion'. You don't need to listen to any tier-lists at all, its just worthwhile to read if your wondering how your character matches up with certain characters.

I still have trouble believing that Tsubaki is higher than Jin... This is kind of odd. That's including the characters specific analysis.

I've beaten a Carl player in CT (as Tager) before, but that doesn't make the matchup any less horrible.

I'm fine with this list not because I main litchi or anything, but Bang has to take risks to deal damage as well as litchi... they have to get close to deal damage. By taking risks, I mean they might get a reversal while they are pressuring the opponent. Ragna is no different than bang and litchi in terms of taking risks.

when we go back to CT, the top tiers were zoning characters and that is a disaster in fighting games IMO.

look at Nu for instance, endless array of swords and she takes zero risks, even if you IB or Barrier.. it's just no use.

It's not like I am getting destroyed by Nus or anything, but I work really really hard to get in and deal damage while NU is safely spamming D's. Rachel is no different with the wind and Lolis(not sure bout spelling).

Bottom line, game is much more balanced and I agree that Bang and Litchi need nerfs in some areas, but still I'm really happy with this tier list(again not because I main Litchi)

Litchi... getting in close..... no..... she's going to beat the shit out of your guard with her staff and sit there and drink lemonade, or she can be serious and attack with the staff essentially making you wait for a gap in pressure (hint: there isn't one) even if you see one, you'll try to take advantage, then you eat shit from a staff up arse. the best part?

trying to get on the offense and you'll still have to deal with that FUCKING STAFF, or get DP'd and have to deal with more bullshit.... no Litchi doesn't have to take risks unless she tries to handicap herself and fight without her stripper pole for support.

Yeah, but considering Bang's health, their damage output and their ease to get out in hard situations, that risk is very low for high rewards.

Well, I don't mind Litchi being that high, but Bang and Ragna... :vbang:

Grats. You just described every character ever in practically every fighting game ever. Let's also not forget that most "reversals" in BB are pretty garbage.

lol at u hating litchi.

ok litchi can launch the staff at you; if it's 5d set you simply do nothing or wait then jump; if it 2d set, just jump.... easy to dodge

Nu can spam swords at you; if it's 5d jump and eat other swords; it it's 6d, dash in and eat more swords ( you have to have fast reflexes to dodge and get in.. sure u know that)

Litchi's pressure has too many gaps in it and if you are skilled enough to instant block, litchi is gonna have trouble pressuring you.

Nu's sword pressure has no gaps(small ones)... you shut up and eat it.

Litchi sometimes relies on SPACING

Nu ultimately relies on zoning unless she's stupid enough to get close

you didn't get my point, this tier list is million times more balanced than CT's

Indeed they need nerfs... I'm happy with this tier list coz it's better than Ct's one and I'm looking forward to the balancing patch for even more balancing

yes you're right.. I was talking about zoning vs non-zoning characters. most characters in fighting games are non-zoning(or partially zoning) characters.

BB reversals aren't SF4-level "beat everything include supers and Ultras) good, but they're still pretty high priority, if a bit slow. Compared to some games where they don't even really have invul (lol Garou DP loses to jump-in), I'd hardly call them garbage.

speak for yourself lol623Dlol... but that costs 25 heat and baited 623C is...:vbang:

still they aren't without uses... Hakumen has some really nice reversals... assuming your the oracle of delphi, and can time it right and know when the opponents attacking.... or you're fighting a spammer. I digress. some reversals are nice (besides 623D and Hakumens [ymmv]) like INFERNODIVIDER and blood kain (ymmv).

i guess it could like how makoto's rage super in 3s could be a reversal. Both have startup inv. with no recovery after the superflash and you can buffer an invincible move during that time. Bang can do that with bang install > rush super too
