Hi guys I want to purchase an arcade stick. But I can't afford the American custom stick makers because of the enormous costs and I couldn't find anyone in Europe who makes sticks. So I want to buy 1 or rather 2 Mayflash sticks(cause it's so cheap) from play-asia, get used to sticks and later mod the masflash with better parts. Is this a good plan? How difficult is changing parts in sticks? I think changing the buttons shouldn't be too hard but the stick change ... What tools do you need to mod the stick? thx in advance

Quick reminder to clean you sticks every once in a while. I thought mine had broken down on me yesterday after two directions started responding very badly, but after I cleaned the microswitches it worked better than it has for the last few months.

That is bizarre as hell. Very cool. As far as the Mayflash goes, you could probably just drill some holes in the top and mount it with bolts on the top. I haven't even seen the inside of one though so I don't really know the specifics of it. You might need a different mounting plate for the Sanwa to do so.

How do I fix the wires on my HRAP at the base of the joystick or can I send it off somewhere to be fixed? Also How do I put pictues on my stick like your's MCR?

^ It depends what kind of stick you have. It's bitch to do all the works by yourself so you generally ask custom stick makers to cut plexi or that see-through plastic for you and you print out the artwork. Then take apart your stick(remove buttons, sticks, top coating or original stick art etc...) and put your artwork and plexi on the top, hold it down with just stick and buttons or screws...Voila. ^ But trust me, unless you know what you are doing, I won't try to do this.

Hey guys as I'm planning to get the hori real arcade pro stick orange for ps2 (bout time I picked up stick) what are great ps2/ps3 converters you recommend, as I want to be able to play games like SC, SF4 and BB with it. Thx in advance.

theres the pelican adapter which i would recommend but its discontinued nd hard to find. only way to try ur luck is ebay. theres a thread on srk forums where they talk about converters nd u can find information about them.

I got the dragonplus from play-asia, it's a lagless converter, does the trick.

Is the stick on Wii a good stick for fresh starters? I've never played stick before and don't wanna waste time learning on an invalid stick.

Wii stick is NOT, I repeat 'NOT', Guilty Gear friendly. You're better off getting a T5 stick :/

What is so bad about the Wii stick? Just wondering cuz they look just like the 360 Fighting Sticks and those are just fine. Don't get me wrong I use my HRAPs over the fighting stick but the 360 version atleast is a great stick to start with. Also if your playing GG on Wii you really don't have much of an option. I know a GC converter exsists but if all your using it for is Wii I just dont see the point.
