Monthly ranbats will have a turn out of about 50 people, maybe 60 I would guess (this is ranbat for bb, gg, and mb). I am currently looking for a venue to host a monthly event for 50-60 people. Planing on Monthly ranbats starting in october at the earliest, November more realistically. NCI will have turn out of about 100-120 I would guess. I suggest we plan NCI for about a year from now, and certainly no earlier than 6 months. I think if we try and have a big tourny like this more frequently than 6 months our turn out will drop.

Dakanya Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 that's cool. hi jake <3 if size DOES become a problem but there are available VENUES, we could always start capping again. just putting it out there if no one has thought about it. its not hype i know but its not a bad idea. we used to do this for our earlier venues anyways.

STenSatsu Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I'd say shadowbrooke as a good choice. They already run biweekly ssf4 tournies so they are used to the turnout. They also already have a connection with IPW so we could get referenced by haunts and crew and we know they can support streaming. I think when I saw their calendar it looked like 2nd and 4th weekends were ssf4 tournies.

qwerty Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 it really depends on the direction we want to take nci. do we want it be just another local monthly/bimonthly thing like it's always been, or something more akin to a regional/minor? hint: if you want more varied competition, choose the latter.
