Turns out Eve and Shiratori want to team with me but then I cant team with Kunihiro. Doesnt look like I can find another person to join me and Kunihiro since Eve and Shiratori come as a pair, plus Eve and Shiratori have been my non Tokyo tournament team mates forever so it makes sense to team with them. I just feel bad cuz I dont wanna just ditch Kunhiro. I guess im just gonna have to figure out the best possible way to tell him politely cuz if we dont win this weekend I will want to team with Kunhiro again later... hmmm...

MetaKnight0 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 personally I think you should use whatever japanese guilty gear bbs, blog, forum, or whatever there is to help figure out your team logistics. you seem pretty well known over there by now, but it can't all be word-of-mouth, can it? honestly your team situation so far (the whole time I've been reading the blog, about from the beginning lol) seems to be one of the big reasons you aren't qualified for SBO. that and May. well, whatever works out for you in the end.

Using Japanese forums and stuff would be a good idea to find a team mate but I honestly dont really even know any good Japanese Guilty Gear forums. Someone linked me to a Japanese GG BBS before but it just seemed really unorganized and all the posts were really old and stuff. Anyone know a good Japanese GG web community where I could post to find another team mate? Im still waiting to hear from a bunch of people I mailed on my phone but it wouldnt hurt to have a backup plan
Shinjin Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Well, that would probably be mixi, but if you`re not using it its probably a bit too late to use that as a forum for finding a teammate since you have to have a pretty big network to reach out to alot of people. And yeah, the Japanese BBS`s are pretty unorganized. There are some decent threads, but it doesnt really feel like the correct place to search for teammates. The best way would probably be to ask (via mail) your GG-friends if they know someone that could team with you, and if they could introduce you. Good luck!

Honnou Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Mike is currently in the hospital due to mono(nucleosis) so I'm speaking in place of him for the time being. He'll　most likely be out of touch for a week or so so you can leave your comments here like normal and if its urgent I can contact him about it. He says to tell Stunedge that he is down for the hotel for EVO. Marn, thats not really true all the time. Wednesdays are a hot day for guilty, Tues and Thurs are honestly kinda slow. Monday is hit and miss. The new Mikado at Takadanobaba is pretty hot on many days of the week as well.

ElvenShadow Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 yo they are letting me use the computer here at the hospital so I could contact my parents and i took a min to drop in here. im still sick with Mono, It all started over last weekend which is why I never updated my blog, I had a fever since saturday early morning and have been sick since and STILL played in the qual on Sunday sick as a dog lol it looks like I wont dye but mono sure does suck balls I must say. staying at a Japanese hospital has been one of the most depressing experiences ever. they dont use pain killers here at all. the inside of my mouth feels like it was scrapped raw and coated with salt and the old men in my room snore like beasts all night and make funny old man noises and I cant sleep well anyway ill live hopefully ill be outa this joint soon thanks for posting Rod

I should be healthy enough to go to EVO by then and go back to CHicago after that but I dont know how long i have to wait until its safe to start drinking and smoking again so I dunno how much partying I can do but at least I can press buttons on a stick they arnt giving me any anti inflamatories, im just toughing it out mostly matt you could have slept in the other room if you didnt believe my mukade story dumbass haha thanks for the support everyone, hopefully ill be back to my usual drinking machine self soon
