Dude are you fucking serious?!? ..... ... lets have a moment of silence for one of the greatest game centers ever.. ... ... . . .... ... .. .. ... .. .. looks like im gonna be playing at Takadanobaba all the time now

The Baba Mikado probably has a lot to do with why it went out of business. Either way, that sucks. Maybe Baim will actually show up at Mikado now?

Hey, are you back over there yet? I know you don't want to write your blog any more, but could you at least give us SBO weekend? Either way, good luck in the last chance quali!

I think vegas is moving to takadanobaba btw. I saw a sign on the door the first day they closed down and it had a map to another location, I just couldn't understand it.

Yo what's up Elven. I'm gonna be in Tokyo for about a year starting in the middle of September. Would be cool to get some games and shit in with you.

He had some nail biter matches for sure Ravioli, sure we can play sometime. just hit me up later the trains in Tokyo stop at around midnight btw does anyone have a niconico douga account I can use to watch vids? Please continue with the blog, it's an amazing insight into the arcade scene in Japan (as well as other stuff) and I feel things wouldn't be the same if there were no lengthy entertaining posts telling us about life in Japan.

Ditto, please keep with the blog, it is very enterteining :yaaay: i just found about it like 2 months ago and have read all of it, the drunken nights at current, the arcades, etc.. very interesting and entertaining. btw, after reading your blog i have found the urge to play GG again, i played in the XX, early Realod days, do you think is worth learning AC?

Definitely continue your blog if you have the time, I enjoy the long posts. Reading your blog makes me want to visit Japan at least once in my life. Woshige is one of the top GG players and has the best Millia throughout the GG series, I find it weird that Flash said that he wasn't a good player. I know you didn't win EVO but at least you won in the team tournament. You have one hell of a Faust, I still consider you the best in the U.S. Stay healthy man.

great update, man, i'm having so much fun reading it, and i had to laugh hard at the toilet story and covering up the sleeping people ^^ ...as well as dora bang cosplay!

I bet blogging can be kind of a chore, but I really hope you keep up with it. I love reading about the fun Japanese cultural and social experiences you have just as much as the arcade scene in Japan!

As for now, it seems that AC is going to be around for a while. Its going to most likely be like the ST of the GG series. The scene is still thriving here in Japan but lately the North American GG scene has been rather lacking to say the least. Due to all the new games coming out, interest in GG has been dwindling. If you enjoy playing the game and you have some competition in your area, then by all means pick up AC. If you want to play a game that has TONS of comp and huge cash prizes, maybe you should be playing something else. Its really up to you. IMO I would say play it as long as you enjoy it.
