That's why I went to NJ thread. People actually talk/chill. In MD? You got some hidden society of lurkers and arrogant stuck up mean people with some kind of jacked up relative "post quality" hierarchy who only post to belittle people (MOSTLY MEEEE WHAHHHHH :sad:) instead of just chillin and sayin whats on your mind lie the old days. I mean.. I am all for an erudite society, but I would rather have a random one than a lurker one...

Yo Eric, I heard on NPR that the Armed Services are rife with proselytizing "born again" xtians. Like, once upon a time they used to get proportional chaplains, such that if 10% of the military was Catholic, then 10% of the chaplains would be catholic. Now, it's apparently 80% evangelical, and their presence has grown to such a point that now dissenting generals feel that they can't speak out against them without it hurting their career. Have you got any first hand experience with this sort of thing? It's counter-productive to have a bunch of superstitious people with crusader fantasies running around the Middle East.
