So TE vs OR,

Round 1:

Start of round, TE tries to rush down OR. Stupid gamble, bad strategically. He's surrendering the matchup advantage over to OR. The gamble doesn't pay off, they trade hits, and TE eats a combo. Combo ends, TE late-neutral techs and reversals an air Net. And I watch and wonder, "Why?" OR iad's in and tags the air Net for CH and does a small combo.

TE does another bad tech and eventually eats another combo.

This time he does a tech that I can agree with, but I do not agree with the landing 5P. Not against a character who's whole moveslist practically shits on everyone's 5P's. TE eats another combo and does another bad tech, which OR sees, but the air Net screws up the OR's punish attempt and he gets a way with out a scratch.

TE has no health, but he finally has some control over the round, but decides to throw it all away by rushing an OR with full meter. He eats a dead angle and dies.

Round 2:

TE starts the round off right. Gets a Tree and an air zoning Skull out. Then does a back EXE, which was risky, but OR doesn't hurt him for it. Then he does it again, and I'm just wondering, "Why? OR is closer now, he's sure to hurt you for it now", which OR does.

OR does a meaty 2HS, which gets IB'ed, but he should of been able to block the reversal 2P, but doesn't???

OR bursts the combo, keeping TE in the corner. TE techs with a j.D and OR was smart enough not to ad into. OR backs off and gives TE his space. TE jumps..? OR jumps in response, probably anticipating an ad? He get's the ad, but doesn't StormViper it, leaving me wondering wtf he was looking for, if not the ad. OR takes a blockstring and gets baited out of what looks to me like a panic throw. Or maybe not, cause the 5HS recovered in time for him to jump, even. So maybe he was baiting his bait, but it doesn't matter because he does the punish wrong. Instead of airthrowing, he does a j.P and eats a combo for it.

OR is now in the corner getting spaced the fuck down. He eventually SV's out, but instead of reversing the situation and putting TE in the corner, he does the GunBlaze crossup and puts himself back in the corner. And then OR loses the round.

Round 3:

Round starts off looking like a proper fight. TE plants a tree, backdashes, does forward EXE, then throws out a f.S a little bit too early for my tastes. It whiffs and he eats a combo. It looks like TE is trying to anticipate everything OR is going to do, rather then just looking at what OR is doing.

Blah blah blah, TE lands the key super, and that should of sealed the round right there. But then he tries to rush down again and gets thrown for it.

Then gets thrown like 4 more times, making this round a lot closer than it needed to be.

Then OR seems to have forgotten about the Super Tree he planted earlier, the match should be TE's but he goes ahead and botches the combo.

But it's not over yet. yada yada yada, TE forgets about OR's FB and dies.

The FA vs OR match afterward looked a lot better.
