VietGeek Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I currently have version 1.2 and I'm completely lost on how to update to rev 1.4. I used this link but I have no idea what to do from there. Please help me. Extract .zip's contents in a separate folder from your MBCC 1.2 game folder (pretty sure the folder should be named: "MBAACC"). Run "MBAACC107ReleaseRev140.exe" Keep clicking the left button. It'll extract and copy the files over to the MBAACC folder. Now copy the "MBAA.exe" file from the .zip and paste it into the MBAACC folder, replacing the .exe already in the file. Run the .exe and it should work, as well as say "Rev 1.04" on the top-left corner of the button config window.
Xtra_Zero Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Heads up guys, just spotted Melty Blood 1.07 on the same machines Xrd and UNiEL are running on.
caiooa Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Yup, it was ported for sega all.net p-prass multi (the digital system for sega machines, equivalent to nesica live). http://apm.sega.jp/titles/12mbaacc/index.html It carries melty to the newer machines as a digital title, no chance of arcades with melty disapearing now. But i remember people saying the credits in ring edge 2 are a little more expensive than in the older machines.
Xtra_Zero Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Yeah it's 100y each, whereas other machines tended to be configured 100y for 2 or 3 plays, but I'm really glad to see it around.
heavymetalmixer Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Looking at all the videos uploaded lately (in korewamelty and GAMEAcho channels), it looks like MBAACC is not dead at all in arcades, it makes me proud to play this game :D
tokin fuyou Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I'm interested in picking up this game, but I have no idea where I can buy it. I read that AACC came with an anime set, but that set is no longer available wherever I look. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this game (and its updates)? Â Or is my only option to get this game through...less than savory methods?
Rhiya Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Unless you can find some auction somewhere for whatever volume of Carnival Phantasm it was, then yeah, you'll need to google up some other methods. And even if you did find an auction, you'd be looking at $100+, probably.

I'm trying to get Melty Blood to work but it keeps saying im missing a d3d.dll file...  Here's what the files i have so far look like: http://snag.gy/7wnJj.jpg  Any help would be appreciated  That's because you need the lastest DirectX version installed on your PC:  1. Download it (it's from the Microsoft official site): http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/4/A/84A35BF1-DAFE-4AE8-82AF-AD2AE20B6B14/directx_Jun2010_redist.exe  2. Double clic in the file and it will ask you a folder in which the file will be extracted.  3. in that folder search for a file called "DXSETUP.exe", and the instalation begins.  After the instalation test again if the game keeps asking you for that dll, if that's the case, post it here again.

heavymetalmixer Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) WE DID IT, SON WE MADE IT WE GOT THAT ROLLBACK NETCODE Â I just opened a few minutes ago and it downloaded an update (3.0.002). Â You can downlowd it from here: Â https://mega.co.nz/#F!ccRylLbZ!-E9AZDSd_pm6PgVQ35z6QA Â O these mirrors: http://filecloud.io/yu0cxhvjhttps://mega.co.nz/#!rkUT2RST!cSSZYdqxvLWGVX8DCu3lTUBq775qJUiTUt-d4SL85Gc Edited February 2, 2015 by heavymetalmixer
o Nereus o Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 So how do i get that to work? I have the game running right now and my fightstick is set up correctly.. now i just need to know how netplay works lol
Big Ben Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 WE DID IT, SON WE MADE IT WE GOT THAT ROLLBACK NETCODE THE DREAM IS ALIVE Â THE FUTURE IS NOW
heavymetalmixer Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Basically, for playing online you have two options (both only through IP direct connection): Â 1. Using the game's netplay (the lag is just HORRIBLE). 2. Using the Cccaster (thanks to Madcientist: http://www.meltybread.com/forums/melty-blood-auditorium/cccaster-v1-0a-netplay-client-for-mbaacc-1-4-0/ ) Â The main problem here is that you can host if you have opened a port in your router, otherwise you must ask to a player that can host so you can join him. The other problem is that this game is only 1 VS 1 (no rooms). Â Since the 2.1x branch of the Cccaster, people can play without a port opened for the hoster but it depends on both player routers, so it isn't reliable. Â The Cccaster has been developed since April of 2013, to bring us a good netcode. Once you download the Cccaster, extract everything inside the zip in the MBAACC's folder. To execute th Cccaster, double clic on cccaster.v3.0.exe. Â Â Â Â It's a cmd windows with a lot of options: Â a) Netplay (to host or join to someone that is hosting), for Versus online or Training online. b) Spectate: you spectate other player matches with the host IP. Be careful with this, it lags the players. c) Broadcast: fro "streaming" Versus offline or Training offline. d) Offline: After setting a certain "Delay" (for lag testing purposes), there's Training, Versus and Versus CPU. e) Controls: for setting both controls and keyboard for the Cccaster. f) Settings: a lot of options you should check out, like Display name, Max delay and Max Rollback. f) Update: serach for minor updates. Â Â Â To play online as host: 1. Go to Netplay (enter). 2. Put the port number (enter). 3. Select mode: Versus or Training (enter). 4. Paste the IP wherever you must so the other player can join. 5. Once the other played connects, set the delay. Â Â To play online as the second player: 1. Copy the IP the host gave you. 2. Go to Netplay (enter). 3. Paste the IP (enter). 4. Wait for the connection to be successful. 5. Wait for the host to set the delay.
heavymetalmixer Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Sorry for the double post but, I forgot to say something: Â Besides searching for communities that play this game, like Melty Bread ( http://www.meltybread.com/forums/index.php ) and Kore wa Melty ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/korewamelty ), there's a site when you can challenge other people (very new), and with chat (public and private), See me in Melty: Â http://seemeinmelty.meteor.com/ Â In this site (if you can host), you can host lobbies (1 VS 1 as I already said), with the port, name and description, it even shows you from where are the people that are hosting the lobbies. Â Â Â Another interesting thing is that there's a database with lots of videos clasified by characters, MeltyDB: Â http://www.meltydb.com/
IndigoNovember Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 There's actually a newer translation patch than 0.52 here: http://forums.mirrormoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3851 .
heavymetalmixer Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 There's actually a newer translation patch than 0.52 here: http://forums.mirrormoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3851 . Â But is in Beta phase, so unless you want to be a bug tester is better no to use it yet.
heavymetalmixer Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Several weeks late, but now we have the Cccaster 3 (3.0.014) with a mix of Rollback and Delay-based netcode (you can use both or just one of them): Â http://www.meltybread.com/forums/melty-blood-auditorium/cccaster-v1-0a-netplay-client-for-mbaacc-1-4-0/ Â All hail Cccaster's netcode Master Race!
redsilversnake Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 All hail Cccaster's netcode Master Race! Wait, the people who use that are all Nazis? Ew.

heavymetalmixer Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Question for everyone that cares about this thread: Should I start posting MBAACC video's links in this thread just like I do with GGXrd, BBCP and P4U2?
CommieCanuck Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I mean considering you posted the meltydb link earlier I don't think it would be really necessary but then again it can never hurt. I think it would get a bit cluttered if we have to go through both videos+news+discussion in the same thread but it's your call. Might help liven up threads a bit or procure more interest.optimal would be getting a forum for MB on here but no new melty any time soon. c'est la vie.
heavymetalmixer Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Maybe this way more people will get interested in the game, and well . . . the thread is dead anyways.
