I'm still going with a crapload of Kyos everywhere (god he is boring)

For least played I'm thinking Vice and Athena

"posterboy" characters with dps will always be overpopulated online, even if low tier(ken) or boring

Athena will totally get played. DP, Fireball, command grab, teleport? Yeah. I might play her too, actaully.

also i hate how like all of kyo's specials that aren't dp/fireball are combo only now :( they made his running "grab" unsafe on block..that shit only had low invuln and was telegraphed as hell

overall though, most of the changes seem reasonable and good

Not terribly happy that Mai's EX ryuenbu is invincible on startup now...because it was + frames before, and it would be silly to haev it be both invincible(Though, if invincibility ends much before the active frames, that'd be okayish) and + frames, and i'd rather have it as + frames than a dp. Her 41236k deserves invincibility more since that move is ass and already risky and unsafe on block except for EX.

Her dive apparently is better on block..which would mean if aimed at the feet, it might be + Frames now. It was -1 or 2 before IIRC.

K' got some fair nerfs for neutral/pressure and some combo buffs and nerfs iirc

I'm a little worried on the crossups change, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with most changes. Game should end up having really good character balance.

Looks like Saiki is just a balanced version of Evil Ash. His theme even sounds similar.

Also seeing as how Classic Iori has a red name like EX characters in classic games, I'm sure they'll end up doing the same for Boss/Awakened Saiki and Evil Ash (have their names in red and their themes state their version names like "Fate (Awakened Saiki)" and "Diabolosis (Evil Ash)").

Lol Billy Blanks pallette, also Saiki looked like a male version of Parasoul from Skullgirls with that pallette. And his theme does sound like Dark Ash's. I definitely prefer "Fate"

I'm very happy for Fire Iori, as both are very different characters in my opinion. But what bugs me is that now, Kyo has his '94 moveset that is very similar to F-Iori's. I personally liked Kyo's Close-ranged rush-down moveset better (as seen in 2k, 2k1, 2k2, 2k3), the three hit chaining ones. I just hope they don't start adding in clones all over the place like SF does, that'd be a waste of spots.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that turning a charge character into a motion character feels sort of flawed?

Pre-Ordered this awesomeness! Also what pallettes will you guys make on color edit when you get it?

I'm thinking a Remy-colored Saiki to start.(assuming shirt and pants can be different colors)

Apparently from some post on dreamcancel says that there are 5 characters on disc and 3 dlc characters. If that's true I'm crossing fingers for a TFTP team or Adelheid.
