Considering the time between KOF12 and KOF13 is the same as the time between KOF13 arcade and console, new characters more fit the bill for how fast they make stuff.

Mightfo Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 4/10 on the subject of dreammatches: i wonder what's next? as in: 1)even if console kof13 does poorly, will snk still be up for kof14? 2)would kof14 drop any characters in 13, or would the price of making new characters and simple fucking logic(THIS ISNT THE 90s/EARLY 2000s) stop that? 3)would they keep it 98/2002/xiii style, or change up the gameplay?

Even if KOF XIII sales are good, I don't see SNK-P making any game but pachi-slots in the future.

Even though I despise 2 characters and slightly dislike the other, I would recommend Kyo, Iori and Terry. Also what's your playstyle? Also I'm suprised no one commented on Ronald McMaxima. Mightfo Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 What characters would anyone recommend for someone who is new to the series? uhh im not exactly well experienced with kof13 but terry for sure, probably iori too possibly mai in xiii since she doesnt have the walldive stuff anymore but has great normals, so she's straightfoward there are other characters who rushdown and have good oki but im not sure if i would particularly recommend any for someone new? i don't think its that big of a deal though. i feel like there's not as many weird characters in xiii as there were in 2002(simply because the cast is half 2002's and so the "have-to-have" standard guys are a higher % of the cast) so it's not like there's 20 nonstandard characters who you may want to avoid
