Shiawase Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Hey ppl, I signed up for a pre release tournament in my country but I have never touched any MvC game XD. I was thinking on picking up Dante/deadpool/taskmaster and am going to prepare by watching a lot of vids lol. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me? Anything is appreciated :P As far as MvC3 goes we know just about as much as you do. The only advice I could give you at the moment is to just play the game when it drops. :V
Chris Chaos Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Just paid off my copy of MvC3 for the 360, working on the PS3 version. Hell I might wait for it to drop before I get the PS3 version. I wont be playing this game religiously but it will be a good time killer until the game I want to come out has a release date.

Anyway, seems like 360 is where everyone is going to get MvC3, so I may also do that. I'll get both eventually.

Shoot, KOF is my main game bro; If it drops, BlazBlue and MvC3 are getting left out of my playing roster. But MvC3 Looks fun to mess around with in casuals, especially if I can kill a character with a confirmed Fierce to Super.

I've held local tournaments for KOF at the arcade I used to work at, so I'm really hoping to start it up again if XIII comes around. As for MvC3, all the players in my area play on 360, so I may end up practicing with them. I'll get both eventually. And the 360 gets a more spread of players since that's what most people have. PSN has really good players, but you'll hit an insane pocket of bad players before you get to good ones. Either way, just play with people who you know are good, and use the others as a way to experiment. Edited February 6, 2011 by SkyKing

Hsien-ko pendulum assist looks nice, probably a good complement to throw super setups (unless you can't get thrown in blockstun? *shrug* No idea on this) or other shenanigans. Looking forward to rocking Zero/Hsien/(Dorm? Shuma?), though I like a very large part of the cast. Hsien-ko for life though
