qwerty Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 On a Side Note, Just A Random Idea: "Interesting Game of the Month" These tournaments are all about how much hype you can get to grow the scene, for the fun of it all. I recently entered a Mortal Kombat II DDR pad tournament, which was absurd, but absolutely hilarious; things like Jackie Chan, Shaq-Fu, or that one Wii fighting game with the horrible hitboxes held for free or a significantly reduced fee (1$ entry) being held on the side until the Grand Final Match, which would be put on stream, would be hype. I don't know the plausibility of this since it depends on what IPlayWinner has to say about it, as well as how many enjoy the idea for the "lulz". nah man, i got this. virtua tennis, next month. anyone who can beat me with 10:1 odds gets a dollar.

Shoutouts to Chipp's super not going through Johnny's super. You know Banki Messai only has 7 frames of strike invul. Had I done Zansei Rouga I might have gotten him. But yea, I never go into Super mode late it's all a ploy because all the damage I took was to put you into a state where you think everything works and then I pull the rug out!

If I had known you'd do the other super I would've tried to IK you (and fail) earlier!

Ooh, that match was Jimmy Le (Ragna) vs. Deadly Base (Jin) I believe. It was the one with the 214214D during blood kain, right? My friend (or "acquaintance") was in that match (the Ragna) and I want to see it to make fun of him :V I'm not sure if he uses a different alias online though, but hey, he used his real name on the bracket. He doesn't play seriously so don't be too hard on him. Oh and props to y'all for getting this together. It was my first tourney/gathering and it was a blast.

Chun Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 The date depends on the availability of the CS Club; there is a biomedical engineering conference the same day and we're not sure about attendance of the officers. If they do go, it'll have to be the 13th. Also, Nov. 13th does look a lot more likely, since PNW's tournament is Nov. 6th.

Vineeth, your sportsmanship is subpar. You ask me to take your Shining Aquas match out of the official tournament set, but you want a casual perfecting Dacid? Thats very selfish. EVERYONE gets put on blast, Im the pinnacle of that example (Think the ENTIRE NORCAL SVGL RANBAT SET, I was destroyed on every one, and all were uploaded). Also think of Drayne O! He's perfected by Dacid and he fuckin laughs his ass off. Dacid got fuckin ROMPED 6-0 by Dabbit, and he didn't give one complaint (except he wants to now kill jared :3 ). I suggest changing your outlook on this game. Everyone plays, and no one on my channel is held higher than the other. Its a community channel. On the same note I dont think I got that match.
