The Man's third groupie (seen in that one pic from Ky's novel, also reprinted in both Artworks books) has a similar outfit!!!! Though after showing him the actual videos, he is now convinced The Man is an evil umbrella. Now that you point it out, ya. White hooded dude and everything. Tho, it is That Man right? Its not like hes labeled as ??? right? Edit: Reading the above translation, ya its That Man. And Justice is 100% Aria. And also, pertaining to Sol Dragon Installing when fighting That Man. After the credits, him and Raven talk about it, and say that its 'encroaching' upon him. I would guess that this mean that his forehead protector is losing its effectiveness.

Aria isn't explicitly stated to be Justice, just a friend of both Frederick and That Man from long ago, and I believe it's either stated or hinted that she and Frederick were lovers. Please recall the old panel from Guilty Gear Xtra which shows a photograph of Frederick, That Man, and a woman (no doubt Aria). Valentine, on the other hand, was "designed" in Aria's image, which is why she looks exactly like her. There are apparantly multiple Valentines being produced, and I don't think That Man has anything to do with it (though I could be mistaken). The fact that Valentine becomes Justice is essentially enough to confirm that the original Justice was Aria.

MUCH_MORE_EFFECTIVE_THAN_SIMPLE_ERADICATION."

Kinda like how a certain Kadaj isn't a certain psychotic white-haired bishounen until he obtained said psychotic white-haired bishounen's mother's head. I don't know if it is coincidental... like Kadaj was "guided" to do the reunion, probably Valentine was attracted to Backyard instinctively to be "completed" by it.

Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 It's strange that Valentine herself doesn't have a tune but then, perhaps to some extent she does in Diva, but as with the title "Overture" I keep thinking in the back of my mind that Daisuke's got something even better planned than this... The Mask Does Not Laugh is Valentine's theme. Says so right on the jewel case.

They did an autograph session and sold various Guilty Gear 2 products, ranging from posters to a pillow cover. The artbook they sold is called, "Guilty Gear 2 Creation Materials Collection (Special CD Appendix)" [ギルティギア２è¨å®šè³‡æ–™é›†ï¼ˆç‰¹åˆ¥ä»˜éŒ²CD付）]. Comiket was 12/29-12/31. According to some posts on 2ch, the book was thin (only 13 pages), though it was full color and printed well with good paper. There were some rejected and changed designs, such as designs with Izuna having red or black hair and different clothing. It seemed to cover all the characters though. I'm not sure if it's being made available to the general public, although it seems that the Guilty Gear 2 Complete Guide (being released at the beginning of February) will have all that stuff as well, along with interviews with Ishiwatari and the other developers.

Keep in mind that now according to Daisuke, GGX and GGXX are non-canon sidestories. For some reason, when i first saw these overture traillers on youtube, i already feel something was in the air.. But i was unable to tell others what it realy was. A feeling that something big was about to change.. When i first read this quote i was like: WTF??? , But than it kinda hit on me, that once i look at all the story lines on GGX and GGXX Reload, I just knew they where way too many loose ends and i think Daisuke wanna fix that in a proper matter.. Still..... I do hope that Daisuke knows what he is doing. Alot of fans love the series, and it will be a shame to "remove" it all away . Just for the shake of making a better story out of it.. Well.. I will keep watch on this forum, and see what comes out.
