Whatever I don't need a whore chest slowing me down, right Prishe! :arg:

Psst, guess which one of the two bared her chest in her original game.

The official website is updated with some videos of Yuna, Prishe and Gilgamesh. And the latter is hilarious, not to mention pretty strong-looking.

Damn straight :kitty:

EDIT: Has anyone seen this yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wlvWn9YbhA

It's about the world map but of course the explanations of what's going on and what you can do is in Japanese haha.

Well at least you have your yuri-waifu, I'm still Faris-less :(

Hmm world map looks pretty nice and will hopefully extend the gameplay since it seems to be semi-vast, I like that you can avoid battles by clashing in the over world, but I hope the music is better :kitty:

Wow I love the way Yuna's summons were portrayed, and Prishe looks pretty awesome, maybe I will settle for her...to bad she's voiced by Aya Hirano, who's been kinda of an attention whore and bitch lately...

No Hirano doesn't act like ANY other seiyuu (and honestly there are people more prolific than her).

Bashing your fans, flashing your panties on television, purposely revealing prudent information on an upcoming role, and making up ailments and harmful situations, just to name a few. I swear I can't go a day without looking up Japanese news and seeing Hirano doing something or rather...

About the world Map:

Seems you can pick up allies along the way and swap control over them.

Slashing some sort of Crystal on the map either nets you items, KP (Kupo Points for the Mog Shop), Gil, Exp, AP, or whatever else (HP/EX Restoration too I would assume).

Pressing Circle talks to allies.

Entering dungeons gives you the option of reducing your current level, and if you do so you get KP and bonus items (like completing a challenge, probably more useful when your Lvl 100).

Dungeons have the Gameboard Layout like the first Dissidia, I'm not sure if Destiny Points are involved yet though.

Moogles are in various places and you can buy stuff at their shops for KP.

Destroying Volcanic Chaos Rocks opens up extra island areas or secret places where Treasure can be found (Triangle/Quickmove works on the map in spots where there are light bridge trails).

When Manikins or other enemies are nearby, if you hold guard ® down you can bounce them away...also if they launch an HP attack on the map, pressing Dodge (R+X) dodges the attack...if it hits you it affects your HP before battle, if you get hit with a Brave Attack, it just initiates the fight like any ordinary Random Encounter.

Yea Hirano's pretty bad about being in the spotlight not just because of otaku lol.

Thanks for the info about the world map Blade, really helped explain what was going on haha.

As a side note: Aerith's so pwetty :o

Aerith's so pwetty :o

Exactly, so why isn't she playable? :( Square is doing an awful lot of work for a mere support only character...

they didn't spend a buck on the illustrations. :psyduck:

$5 says one of the selling points is "Nostalgia" :v:

Anyone else thought that Jihl looks like she's in Nomura's art style? :psyduck:

Fixed. That's just the way the man draws, he's kinda like Akira Toriyama, with a very monotone style.

Screw you Square-Enix! :arg:

Another Form

3rd Form

Also why does Gilgamesh look more badass in his Another and 3rd forms than he does regularly?

And what would make Dissidia better? If it was a children's card game! :v: Better have a Faris card >.<

I'm so confused right now. Why the heck does Ms. Assist Only have alternate costumes. It's kinda weird that we get to dress up someone we'll never play as. Also I wish her 3rd costume was her main one, the thing is gorgeous!

the ff wiki page of her (which is suprisingly accutate, people do work on that shit) states that she's got such special assists (stuns, invincibility) as well as alternate costumes to make her a unique and good enough inncentive to get people to pay for the demo (aside from 'Oooo it's Aerith'~) and that she was chosen as an assist only character so she could be in the game without her lack of fighting ability being an issue.

also, gilgamesh excalipoor winning ex burst for ultimate troll...

Finally--a perfect use for Excalipoor! =D

No, making her a playable character is an incentive for paying for the demo :/

Also "lack of fighting ability"? She's a better fighter than Tina and Shanotto combined lol

But the real reason I'm posting...

Gilgamesh's Brave Attacks are pretty awesome now. Still I have no clue about the Missile though. :psyduck:

I know right? I would play her if she was available. If anything for not making her playable, I think it would have to be about her attacks and EX burst and what not. Since most of their moves (at least with the VII characters) are from their limit breaks, they couldn't figure anything out except only being assist since in the game her limit breaks were pretty much helping the party ( like Great Gospel until she went the way of the dinosaur ;___; ) or afflicting status ailments against the opponent.

Making a healer playable in a fighter isn't new though. Ex. Mint in Tales of Vs. Sadly that is a 4 player game though I have no idea how a healer would work one on one.

Exactly. I honestly would play her if she was available and I know it's possible but I just don't know if SE would be able to pull off the healer fighter in something like Dissidia haha.

Good to see that we get a ton of content for our money in this game though :D I see infinite replay value on many long trips to come.

Now if only they'd release the demo in the US (Watch us get it the week before lol)

From what I've seen, you have to be lucky. On one of those match vids, Lightning's healing increased her BRV up a thousand one time.

But that's Lightning who has more than one playstyle because of FF13's gameplay mechanics, Aerith is nothing but a support character all the time. If Aerith did turn out playable she would have to rely on materia and her status effect based Limit Breaks would have to do minor damage, like Mint's debuffs in Tales of Vs.

I see no problem with this, it would've been interesting to see how and what Square could do with her, I think you guys are letting them off too easy because she's "just a healer/supporter". Materia would work as no none of the FF7 cast really integrate it into their attacks, and hell half the cast are already spell casters, so why not? Also she has a staff, remember guys? She can totally go toe to toe, it'd be nice to see Aeirth getting the spotlight she deserves, and she'd be like a better Shanotto.

But while we're talking about characters utilizing their game's systems, I would've loved to seen a FF8 character (Quistis or Selphie) using the Draw system in battle!

Think outside the bun box!
