Depends on the timing of your 5C but you should be able to recover quick enough after 5C whiff if you pressed it just before they neutral tech to go into 2A to be at an advantage. You could go for a block if you did do it slightly after they woke up and hope it is IB to go for DP punish or something.

Jin doesn't need any buffs. Any buff he does get is like... woo, a buff. More wins for me >_>

that being said, 5d is pretty much dead weight these days so it's nice to see the move improved.

so does that mean we can ACTUALLY combo 5D reliably? that's nice.

EDIT: it seems you can combo 5C>5D....

that's a real buff.

We are gonna be really good in CSII.

They have no intention on nerfing anything we have whatsoever.

I can see some players being a bit more autopilot with his blockstrings.

But seriously, we are gonna have better mid-screen combos on standing opponents that don't lead into a 3C.

5B - 5C - 2C - 5C - 5D - dc - 5C - 5D? - 214B or 632146C

what do we have worth nerfing? I mean repeat proration on 6C/6D/623D would be a serious bitch slap, and everything else isn't really good enough to nerf.

but the yeah the midscreen damage is going to be much better... not to mention the possiblitity of ground freeze resets, and the corner push is gonna be the shit.

Of the changes I've heard so far I think making 214B knockdown and having a faster 5D are the most important ones(and the ones I hope they keep).

Also, I agree about 5D being special cancellable again. But at this point I'll take anything we can get.

Fuck. Yes. Maybe we'll finally be able to do actual extended ground standing combos instead of 5b 5c ice car!

that would be nice, but 5C>5D works just a well.

that also means it's even faster than in CT, so.... we now have a real poke, 5C was nice, but it exposed you too much, and 5D has a GDLK hit box.

Asking for so much, yet so happy with this I'm glad we've got 5C > 5D :yaaay:. Mid-screen damage increase ftw! I personally think that we need 5D to be special cancellable, you'd see the return of 5D > IceCar spammers.

5C>5D? So... that means having a combo which pushes further that can possibly have a 3C finisher. Really, will it be much more powerful than a sekkajin combo?

no but you can't hit confirm 5C>sekka jin.

it also means we have a legit mid range game.

though you may be able to buffer sekka during the dash cancel.
