FormerlyUnknown Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 it just irks me how they're placeing the nerfs. kune's problem was his CURSE loop doing too much damage...so what do they do? nerf his normals =p of course. i'm willing to wait and see what they do. if the people doing the loktests are able to win with this kune, then hopefully with the other characters nerfs he'll be able to stand on his own. litchi for god still tho

(The wiki says less damage, the blog says less hitstun. Could be either, could be both. Dunnolol.) •Spin and dive now have same move proration added. •Landing recovery after airthrow. •Jump cancel from bird (j6B?) slowed, can't bird -> bird -> spin anymore. •Warps (If P then Q, not dash/backdash) are a lot slower, you can hit him out of them on reaction. For god's sake, Arakune's only mid tier. Arakune for worst character in the game if these changes apply. Oh well, if these happen I could just make Hazama my main... Oh, right. Well I could make Tsuba... Umm.... Arakune mid tier what? Anyway, yes these nerfs are to much though, he would have been fine with a damage nerf since 10k combos are op. Especially when he has like 5 100% curse setups. But these changes cant be final, both Arakune and Bang looks to nerfed now imo.

Also, stop calling them 10k loops. 10k assumes you hit them with 2C/5DCH/j.5C at the very beginning of the curse. Even if you jump back while blocking Arakune will have to spend half of the curse time just locking you down. 6-9k loops are much more closer to the truth.

Remember ragna losing 5B>6A? im sure bang will get back use for his 2A and stuff. I wish the old loketests threads were still here so people can remember the extreme changes they made that never stuck.

I just said that if this locktest is final, he will definatly be low tier. Hell, I kinda wish this was final. If anything, they'll nerf Ara even more in the later locktests. Just as planned. And then she kills Hakumen, but then Jin takes Hakumen's place and finds out the truth, then Rachel goes insane and Noel shoots her... Wait, wtf am I talking about?
