currentlemon Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Meh, I doubt this will be the last loketest. For one Platinum hasn't come out yet and nobody knows how she will turn out. Yes she has some praise in the loketests but we'll never know until she comes out. I still believe that Arksys can still do a little more balancing with there characters. I'm hoping that there will be no characters C tier or worse, but then again, this isn't Guilty Gear AC+ or Melty Blood. There will probably be 1 more loketest maybe even 2 before December 9th, but we'll never know until Arksys confirms it.

(Mike-z is not the only "good Tager" in the world, he's probably the best tager, but definitely there are other monsters out there ...) the other day I saw a "golden Tager" that caused problems even for the "Spirit Juice", which undoubtedly is a great player ... what is wrong with Tager? the lack of damage? The lack of a good poke? the dependence of magnetism? Sorry for my english...

Sorry for my english...Lack of damage, lack of good pokes, lack of good lows, GF sucks, slow and situational anti airs, huge hit box for character specific combos and mix ups. His damage goes down even more if he doesn't have mag and all his mix ups eat a combo if the opponent guesses right, he has terrible block strings and get little damage off lows even by tager standards. He is disadvantaged against nearly every play style and character. His movement is really poor and if he want's to try and move faster he has to put himself in counterhit state. There's probably a lot more than can be put much more succinctly that'll be posted by the time I send this post is done.

Also, MY DEFENSES they should just consider redesigning tager, he is obviously a mistake they dont have to redesign him. they can give him a new 2b/5b with a lot more range, make his moveset faster. make gadget finger better, remove CH state on whiff throw and make a sledge positive on block, b sledge more positive with a cancel, and a double jump. then nerf his other shit accordingly (720 especially). he needs 2 new moves, only one needs a lot of animation.
