Yeah I just watched Plat vs. Arakune on the stream. All I could say is that I agree with HeartNana about him, it's like he's the hardest character for arc to balance. Though watching Platinum steal the finals from Tsubaki with CDT and fly away on her magic pony more than made up for that.

plat needs a route with arakune, which is hard to get with random items. against him a lot of pressure must be applied, and plat dosent seem to gain huge momentum unless she's near a corner +/50 meter +/correct item from what l see.

in a nutshell: if she had unlim. missles...

The upgraded bombs are alot bigger and does more damage than the normal bombs.

They're not a LOT bigger, but they do more damage.

They're bigger enough where it makes a small difference, but not anything near the difference between regular and gigantic cat missles/cat staff/hammer.

It seems that the only thing it fixes for Platina is a bug with her AH, when she kills herself along with her opponent or something. The combos listed at the end of the post are just combos discovered by OP.

The exact combo wasnt anything super special but here it is:

With hammer:(5C) 236B 5C 2C Cbubble high jump then double jump into j.D hammer from high up into (changes depending on character)

normal char: (5C high jump B j.C double jump j.C into j.D hammer from high up) repeat x2 into 5C 632146C

makoto (?) (the site says the ? too): Same as the other combo, but 5C 6A 632146C at the end

light characters: 5C 6A high jump B j.C double jump j.C into j.D hammer from high up 5C 632146C

You missed Nagoya Street Battle. Five hours of CSII with some really good Platinum players. I think Shadow was there, and there was a Platinum on the winning team. New info-wise, nothing much besides some paper fan footage, some combos by HeartNana, and just more gameplay footage overall. We'll keep you updated with anything important, but I think for a while there won't be anything really groundbreaking for info. Take it easy, man.

The NSB vids are up on youtube. Go to the video posting thread, and go back a page. The lengths are something special though. First third is two and a half hours, second third is an hour, and last third is a hour and a half. They're definitely worth the length though.
