itsme Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hmm, it seems that the double relaunch combos still works on CT 623AA (HJC) delay j.2C delay j.C 2C (HJC) delay j.2C j.C 2C (HJC) j.2C AD j.2C j.2C If you guys needs a video ask away, it's beautiful. For a second there, I was wondering how in the world j2C's animation could end fast enough to go into a jC, only to realize you were talking about CT. Also, saw a video earlier today and I realized Kishuu goes through bursts now. Should have known it would have because of the projectile invincibility but thought it was neat. Also, does Kishuu go through Lambda's Spike Chaser?
IndigoNovember Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 It's -27 on block, so just block and punish with 5C. If she did it in the air, that's even better. It's just safe to not do anything risky when you don't need to. You'll also have 1 more magatama to work with. But it is nice to know that I can mess around with my opponent, usually, at least once a match ( ゚▽゚)/ .
IndigoNovember Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Just saw Dsmoove12's fight against the Secret Boss on the BBVlog. Epic fight Spark. That is all that needs to say, pure Epic.
Tong Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Why is Hakumen so fun to play as ;__; Because you havent lost yet.
IndigoNovember Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Because you havent lost yet. And then I go back to... wait, Hakumen's my main ( __ __) *headdesk /sarcasm
Moblin Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I'm really excited for Extend. Haku is going to be very good, and I can't wait to learn all of his new midscreen combos. His old ones are still there, but there are also new amazing ones that seem to replace the old ones as far as efficiency goes. It seems like 3 star combo = full screen corner carry no matter what. Is the national tourney in California going to be played on CS2 or CSex?
IndigoNovember Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Is the national tourney in California going to be played on CS2 or CSex? If you're talking about BlazBlue Revolution, then it'll be Extend. Since the finals happen on 2/25/12 as well as the wording of "Extend Console Version", I'm going to assume the America release will be out by then, so we'll have had some time to practice beforehand.
Fluck Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Just some comments on the Kishuu VS reversals thing even though it was awhile ago because I'm interested: Inferno Divider is HBF property so Kishuu will not be able to beat it via property. It seems to have won through hit and hurtbox interaction instead. There's a number of other reversals that have all three properties, but Mu's Origins is not one of them. So it's perfectly possible to Kishuu through Origins using invulnerability. Generally speaking, if something works on Inferno Divider, it's going to work on all the other DPs in the game, because ID is one of the fastest DPs, has one of the best hitboxes, and has all three attributes. Though, there's something I'd like to ask C0R. When Haku's 2B clashes with ID, can't Ragna just ID another and beat whatever you do (except drive)?
Spark Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 If your far away enough that 2B will clash with ID, if he does it again it should just whiff as Hakumen pulls his leg back and because 2B's hitbox is shorter than Hakumen's crouching hitbox the 2nd hit of ID should also whiff over him. Else if you're too close only drive, or supers will work.
PrinceHyphy Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 heres a idea for a haku-men thread title I'm S-tier now what

IndigoNovember Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 heres a idea for a haku-men thread title I'm S-tier now what I thought he was only A tier in Extend, just like CS. Kinda funny how he keeps on going from low to high and back again.
SansProtocol Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I thought he was only A tier in Extend, just like CS. Kinda funny how he keeps on going from low to high and back again. S, A, he's still a great character in Extend. I think people get caught up on tiers too much and don't play a character that they enjoy for the most part.

I think people get caught up on tiers too much and don't play a character that they enjoy for the most part. You can say that again. I was certainly sad when I heard he had dropped in the tier list in CSII because that meant they had taken away some of his options or something, but I stuck with him because he just fit me better than the other characters. I saw my friend switch around a lot due to tier lists. With every revision he was always sad because he had to switch from one character to the other due to all the changes.
mAc Chaos Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 The difference in options is just an opportunity for you to beef up some other aspects of your game that you didn't have to rely on before, so don't think of it as a loss.
Moblin Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 BB is my first traditional 2d fighting game, so I decided to just pick one character that I liked and stick with him. I've been playing Haku since CT, but I've only now just starting to get slightly decent. He's definitely high tier with full screen corner carry from 3 stars. I can't wait to have my revenge on Litchi players in CSEX.
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I am the white bowl. I am the cold steel spoon. With utensil in hand, I will purge the whole wheat of this cereal. I AM HAKUMEN. MIDNIGHT SNACK HAS COME.
mAc Chaos Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Suppose you use 6A as an anti-roll technique in the corner after finishing a combo, and they decide to just take the hit and blackbeat. What's the best thing to do next to make sure they can't just air tech away and escape? Maybe delay a bit and 5C or something?
WolfCrimson Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) (In an attempt) To answer your question, I looked for HammamBakr's tutorial vid, he explained how to punish air techs, which could help if they airtech after your anti-roll 6A. I'm linking the vid directly to the part about airtechs, though if you rewind a bit you can see the part about punishing rolls in the corner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=a6ovt3MX7Gc#t=416s Edited December 12, 2011 by WolfCrimson

Your best bet would probably be 6b since you can cancel 6a into 6b and 6b grounds just like 5c. If you use 6b you don't have to recover from the 6a and then start up 5c, both of which take a while, I don't even want to think how long it'd take to do both (=__=;; ) .
WolfCrimson Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Err.. I don't know where to ask this, but since this is Haku related, here goes: Does anyone have the link to a video where Hakumen does an astral and goes " I am Hakumen. My Roflcopter goes :SWOI. SWOISWOISWOISWOISWOISWOISWOI lololololololololololololol. *sheathes sword* bitch" in a Microsoft Sam voice? Damn this post is so weird.
Moblin Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 No, but if you find it link it here, because that sounds hilarious.
