Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!!! :D

We get to see what he looks like, too.

Also, spoilered Q so as not to give away the outcome:

Where are his other matches? I can't find them in this 10h-long vid...

Short chubby, I think. You can see their reaction to winning/losing a match.

I was really expecting him to be the tall skinny guy, lol. I always thought of him that way since he plays Johnny and Haku.

Hey Spark, maybe you should sticky mAc's CP info only thread and edit it when the game is released in Japan with the official changes for Hakumen from CSEX>CP. Makes things easier and we can direct people to a clear and concise thread for new players when they have questions.

Just my opinion anyways.

Eh, apparently it says Cantabile only has feet attribute on both the mook and online frame data but in reality, seems to also have grab attribute as well. Would explain it though I'm still not 100% sure since I haven't tested it yet.

Posted

Yes, just tested it, and it's a strike command grab. Yukiakazke/normal zanshin's cannot counter it. The only move that hakumen can use to beat it is Akumetsu. Timed right, cantabile even beats 6b, which has lower body invincibility.

So Chin went for Yukikaze but it got stuff by cantabile.

Interesting...

Its sad that I dont know this but who is the best hackmen player in Japan or even top hackmen players?

Chin/Ochin/Suzume (goes by many names), Spark (North America's top hakumen player, still could compete with Japanese players though), Takosu (excels really well against Tagers), PFarmy, and Chibaken, and A-92.

Not criticizing you but, you should've also posted this in the video thread.

OK. Thanks. I didnt know that netplay vids could go in the video thread. I thought JP only matches along with the combo vids went there.

I started using hakumen again.

slowly remembering his match-ups and getting my hakumen fundamentals to live within my u-12 fundamentals.:)

Oops sorry, you're right, I was probably tired when I posted that :p

But if you need advice you could also post it in the critique thread made by Sophisticat.

I don't have any bandwidth left to stream like anything on youtube. So you'll have to wait, unless mAc, sophis, or dioxide or someone else who isn't free can check your matches out. Maybe message one of them too.

Wtf, how did you manage to do that?

Did you learn your lesson, Mac? Are you gonna stop trying to 6A things like Haku-Men now?

^Is this the reason you dislocated your arm?

It's a long story. My friend who lives in Boston moves to Florida this week, so a week ago (the weekend of the hurricane -- oops) I flew over to visit him before he left. While I was at his house that Saturday, I was at the top of his stairs, which were the super polished slippery wooden kind. It also didn't have any railings. Well, it had the rail bar, but no spokes, so you could go under it and fall off. Naturally I did a banana peel slip at the very top and basically did a ski jump from the top to the bottom of the stairs and did full 6A right into the bottom rail which was basically as thick as a tree. At first I was just shaken and got up and everything seemed fine. Then I tried to put on my jacket 30 minutes later and my arm seized up so we had to go the ER and they popped it back in. But it got put in a sling since there's a chance it could pop out again with it being so soon after the event.

Then on Sunday they had to close all the airports and ground the flights because of the hurricane, and the power went out too. So I ended up stranded there for a few more days with my remaining arm until Wednesday of last week when I finally got back, instead of the original Friday to Sunday trip.

It was still fun though. Of course the power went out the very instant we turned on CT. I will never be able to convert my friend away from Guilty Gear.

One does not convert players from Guilty Gear, because it's too awesome to NOT play. One simply gives friends Blazblue as an alternative game to play along with Guilty Gear.

Words of wisdom.

Anyways wow, sounds like you had an adventure. glad to see we're all not completely sadlife in these ArcSys forums.
