KM Riku Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Explain this to TofuSlain, I don't think this will affect his/her game any. The same way Rachel nerfs in CS didn't affect her game? Sure
Lord Knight Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Seriously? :[ That sucks for her. that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too good though
Blade Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I dunno, I've played some fierce Rachels in CS with good techniques and combos, and I was Ragna. And then there's Dahlia...
KM Riku Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I better be quiet for now and don't discuss this anymore.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Does that mean that gravity overall is increased? Yes.
Alzarath Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I better be quiet for now and don't discuss this anymore. Good move, that way you'll leave with SOME of your brain intact.
TD Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 l'm confused at the direction of Tao. Like, run away the whole round now?
GenoWhirl Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Didn't the thing say they wanted her to be more offensive, but worse at getting away?
Vulcan422 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Tsubaki - 236236D lost its invincibility. If done early, the crest will show, and all of the charge and gauge will deplete. Define "early". Do you mean that if the charge gauge isn't up to level 5, the move will fail? If so, then massive LOLZ.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Well, eirei's way of explaining it was better: It works a lot like Carl's Cantata. If an opponent hits Tsubaki right on 236236D's super freeze, the crest will show, the charge gauge will deplete to zero, but the move won't come out. In other words, it's actual massive LOLZ. KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Edited the post just in case you didn't see it
LunaKage Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Well, eirei's way of explaining it was better: It works a lot like Carl's Cantata. If an opponent hits Tsubaki while she is in 236236D startup, the crest will show, the charge gauge will deplete to zero, but the move won't come out. In other words, it's actual massive LOLZ. This can be rectified by not trying it outside of a combo/punish situation.
KM Riku Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 l'm confused at the direction of Tao. Like, run away the whole round now? She can't even do that anymore. If you don't do a follow-up while you use her drive, she will stop and fall to the ground, also her drive directions changed too.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This can be rectified by not trying it outside of a combo/punish situation. Why would you ever want to use its invincibility anyways
LunaKage Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Why would you ever want to use its invincibility anyways It lost it's invincibility though right? I agree that it sucks to take away her only real reversal, hopefully they buff her 623D at least.
Yggjrasil Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Why would you ever want to use its invincibility anyways because her DPs fail to do so, might as well get creative with it. @KMRiku Wow, thats pretty harsh, I'm sure Lambda,Tager and Hakumen players are going to enjoy this.
STenSatsu Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Why would you ever want to use its invincibility anyways It was Tsubaki's best reversal if you needed something reliable unlike her DPs. Now it literally lost any use outside of combo videos.
STenSatsu Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 or you can you know use 236236C 236236c isn't a reversal. No invul on it at all.
lxMetalSonicxl Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 or you can you know use 236236C That move isn't a reversal. They have different properties.
Mumm-Ra Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Arakune's new 5A>2A gatling is nice, when I saw it on Unlimited Arakune I wanted him to have it, makes his crappy mixup better, now if they only speed up 6A a little bit... Also Zero Vector only lasting 6 seconds was in the last loketest too, IIRC.
LunaKage Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 out of curiosity, what does 'loke' stand for? I always figured it was "Location".
