Dragkonias Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 rofl bb added gravity now? He's probably referring to the increased untech time on Jin's dp.
stunedge Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 characters fall faster in general than it was in CS1
LordSpectreX Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 not really, I can't imagine 623C loops (lol) giving oki, so I can't imagine doing a lot of pressure afterwards. If he can..... Does Stunedge's combos say the combos end with 214B? 214B causes knock down now, so surely it was would allow for tiny bit of oki.
stunedge Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 CDp does knockdown as well so u can oki afterwards
Ice Cube Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Stun, which of Jin's knockdown moves gives the best oki in corner? From what I have seen in vids it looks like Cdp > 3C > ground B/Cmusou > air B/Cmusou. Also, is freeze oki (end combos with j.D or j.236D) strong?
smooshman Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I noticed that the launch angle on 623C changed, and I was wondering if they actually increased it's untechable time or did is it that the new angle makes it so that they hit the ground before they can tech.
Yuushiro Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 angle has nothing to do with that.... if the untechable time wasn't increased they would still be able to recover.
prokiller88 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Its the gravity smoosh, they increased the gravity in the game which makes all characters fall faster.
Sol.Badguy Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 is "5D speed is faster than CS1, combo from 5C." supposed to be red?
Yuushiro Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 is "5D speed is faster than CS1, combo from 5C." supposed to be red? nope faster is better..., it just the freezetime become faster too so it won't combo to anything except EX ice car I think.... is jin A tier now? He's pretty high up there, a lot of top Jin has PSR of 200++ now.... we still need to wait for the official tier list for now but if it's my opinion jin is about A-A+ while makoto and arakune is kinda broken Its the gravity smoosh, they increased the gravity in the game which makes all characters fall faster. the untechable time play role with the added gravity with this, if it's only the added gravity I think with BBCS1 C DP untechable time they should still be able to tech in the air despite the added gravity
Erorrless Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 so 623D now does less damage when its used 2-3 times in a combo? but everything else about it is the same?
xlolxlolx Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 you should actually read about the changes before you post.....
Erorrless Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 i read them obviously in order to ask about this one, but how does "623D seems to have the same move proration, combos with 2 623D's involved pretty much don't work anymore" make any sense? the higher the proration the more the damage (thats what the site's guide says) but at the same time less damage? which one is it? why cant dustloop BB experts answer nicely for once instead of playing smart. its going to cost you the same time to type - yes/no does less/same damage - as to type this one out.
shtkn Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 you're mistaking proration for same move/repeat proration. repeat proration is ADDITIONAL proration applied to the standard damage proration. http://dustloop.com/guides/bbcs/systemGuide/systemGuide.html#proration look at the example combo, bang's 623B has repeat proration and look at how much the damage drops once that 2nd fire punch hits.
smooshman Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 is the repeat proration on 623D on the first or the second? or just in general? because if it's for the first hit I don't think reset gimmicks would be effected.
ZhePrime Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 is the repeat proration on 623D on the first or the second? or just in general? because if it's for the first hit I don't think reset gimmicks would be effected. Kicks in after the first. 623B>dash 5B>623B Everything after the 623B in bold suffers from the same move prorate from the move (i.e. 30%). So if a move ends with that move then repeat prorate doesn't really matter.
Moy_X7 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 ^^ I think he meant which one between the first hit (the one that freezes) or the second hit (the one that causes ground slide) receives same move proration.
Feanor Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 First and foremost it's 623D and not 623B. 623B has only one hit so no wonder he got it wrong after this mistake.
xlolxlolx Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 pretty sure that both hits have repeated proration, but both hits will be counted as separate moves so you'll get repeated proration either way, there really isn't any info on it as far as this though
Yuushiro Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-KqCtmmpYI#t=11m58s on CH hit..., 5D can still be followed to >dc> 5B.... I think maybe it's corner only though
xlolxlolx Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 naw it should work everywhere as long as youre close enough
Yuushiro Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 won't 5D push them back further? and the freeze time would make it not connect right?
