I said it before but during 720's flash it gains unlimited tager like suction.

Its really mind blowing.

Imagine your fighting litchi and she's magnetized you do VTC and she does 3C, you do it during 3C's start up during the instant of that flash she gets pulled in and meets an untimely demise.

I haven't really seen any great show of -just- the pull. In the Ragna one where he got caught from half screen, I'm like 99% sure the Ragna had just started up a Hell's Fang. Although now that I look at it again, he might never have even made it to the moving forward part and it could've all been magnetism.

If that was all magnetism, then that's going to be sexy.

Ragna did 5C and got pulled in during start up.

Remember during 720's super freeze you can't do anything...unless you did it before the button press.

Or in the 5 frames before the superflash. Before the button press implies a 0 frame throw.

How does Tager vs Ragna look right now?

Kaqn had to try so hard here, I felt sorry for him as a player.

Ragna can eat a dick though.

Easier for Tager (and thus tougher for Ragna), but overall I'd say about even, so far. All the little changes add up, even system changes.

Might tip a bit in Tagers favour in the future, but I honestly can't say just yet.

Preferably I would rather have seen changes done so the vs. zoner matchups got easier. But maybe next time.

You talking as in literal damage or the damage amount from the attacks NON super armor? Given the considerable reduction in damage he takes while in Armor, it'd take a lot to do 2K to him in that short amount of time. Makes me wonder if he can Armor supers...Would be cool if someone tries to chip you to death or they're going for a guard crush.

I think it is just you Axis because GF always had that pull even from that distance. There is just I am guessing a certain amount of frames after a knockdown that allow GF pull to activate. He is able to do it in CS1 as well.

@ Orion: 6A super armored Ashura which does 2500 damage which is a decent example of how scary it is.

@ Gaijin: Strange, GF never had enough pull for you to suck them in straight after a collider.

But hey I was stoned and buzzed last night so what do I know.

Ashura doesn't deal that damage on the initial hit though. Houtenjin, Fermata, Calamity Sword (6A doesn't have projectile autoguard anymore does it?), Shippu all do 2500+ by themselves (at least in CS1) so if 6A absorbed any of those (realistically just Houtenjin) that would say something.

Saw Collider > 4D whiff > Gadget once or twice but might've just been for cool points.

im hyped about the XYH to 720 cancel that Yuumura did at the end of the 2nd round v that jin just for shits before he died, was a true cancel out, could be so much fun.... 214b (churn that butter!) C!!!!!

and as far as 6a goes, im just excited that we have a counter the the unbeatable dragon punch. its not fool proof but at least its something.

also i am pleased with the speed of 3c and the new hammer, if nothing else it gives us more threat range on sledge vs some of the zoning chars. (i still havent seen an example of hammers armor but if it exists with 50 heat it seems you can basically sledge hammer RC for a free close and a primer break on any projectile zoner)

Not too excited so far. I'm going to wait and see if anything over the top comes out of the woodworks.

Here's to hoping Tager will break free from a gimmick character.

So then your objection was meaningless and Orion can go back to being happy about the buff? I'm kinda confused by your back and forth going no where.

I've noticed a lot of people talking about 214B then 720, but isn't the new motion 214D (Making the motion something like 63214D7896321478 or something similar?) And wasn't the old motion 421B? Did they sneak in another command change on me or are people just making up commands for XYH?

Before I go to sleep I would like to say a couple of things:

heroic is right CH 2D>6A does work but you can only do CH 2D>6A>3C and it has to hit in its last active frames...its useful if you can confirm it and the timing isn't hard at all.

Still CH 2D>6A is great because it means we can always get damage 3.5k+ damage without spark on CH and we can probably follow up with some nasty tick setups with it since it has huge stun! theory craft away!

In the loctest XYH was changed to 214D, now I have not looked in the jbbs recently to confirm it but I would hope this is true...214B is just lame.

Its easy, do the 214B as you start the 720, keep going into the first 360, cancel the jump with B and start the charge, finish the 720 and hit C:eng101:

Or if I'm lucky and facing right, 214B and just mash out the rest really fast and it'll pretty fucking quick. If you can whiff 2A and get a 720 before it recovers and you can jump, you'll be able to cancel XYH very quickly.

So like I said you'd be able to do the standing 720 as fast as you could spin 1 720. 63214D7896321478C I know there's different short cuts and whatever, but the idea is there. I'm again assuming the motion uses D, because I never saw B confirmed and it really would be better as D since there are no motions with even a chance of accidentally coming out.
