That's a shame I liked the pink suit and shades alt. Oh well guess I'll try to remake it whenever he's available to the rest of the community.

I wish I didn't have to spend tons of meter on Viola just to get normal damage out of her combos. She's got some fun set ups though.

Okay, sorry for the double post but how do you Guard impact on PS3? Im reading on GS boards that just guarding is pointless and doesnt do any good and rarely anyone uses it, blehbleh. I been doing that because I dont know how to do GI yet. And that must be a reason why I'm getting my ass kicked alot online. Because it seems like people take a huge chunks of damage of my HP, and before I know it, I'm dead.

So help would be nice, thanks in advance! =D

Guard impact is 4A + B + K so on the ps3 controller it'd be 4R2 for the macro if you kept it at the default controller settings.

You need at least half meter and it won't work on unblockables, throws, and critical edge attacks.

GIs are far from useless, and until one gets good at Just Guards they can be pretty awesome tools. Many characters have a several moves with GI properties (which when used don't spend meter) and some of these can come in handy. A GI staggers your opponent and leaves them open to an offensive, however keep in mind that your opponent can re-GI, so doing raw GIs can be a gamble, but unless the opponent is fast to react or knows the matchup well they usually don't anticipate re-GIing a move that has GI properties so another helpful tool, especially since some moves even mask the GI spark (like Leixia's Winged Rhythm Brave Edge).

I've been JGing since I got the game. Really isn't as hard as people make it seem imo. Still need to work on the timing for certain characters' strings and unblockables, but other than that it's pretty great. As far as GI goes, the only time I use it is with moves that have GI properties. Rarely do I actually spend meter for a GI.

Well it seems right now Im just knowing when to block, when its okay to attack etc. I guess when I get a little better with just Guarding, GI will become more handy for me.
