Hey guys, where can I find Tager's DLC CT colors? I'm planning on doing more Tager colors when I get back to school.

Alright guys, after a whole week working on Tager's recolors, here are the finished ones. Click on one of them for full size. Still taking critiques.

just a question

what do you guys use these for? I was thinking on doing a Lambda PSD with all the colors ready to be toggled

Seriously, the PSDs are just sitting there waiting for someone or something to color them all up. Imo, making the template is the hardest and most stressful part. Laying all 12 colors is faster than tracing the paths.

The colors, well... unless someone asks for a specific one, there's no purpose for them atm but we'll have around 700 pictures laying out there when every color is done in every BB art. lol

Lambda is a mess, but downsizing the final product hides most defects.

I have a Lambda template that I think is very good with the details and glow

For some reason I can't DL anything from Megaupload. I wanted to recolor some Valk stuff, and Rachel as well as Taokaka...

Edit- OK for some reason it's working now, maybe refresh is amazing... idk.... Good stuff really a great thread. I can work on some school projects now...

I just thought, how come none of the PSD's are in AI format? You could use the gradient mesh tool, and it'd be vector, so no pixelation, and you have more control over your coloring... just a question.

Only my oldest PSDs use paths, the recent ones got gradient maps. But it's very easy to create grandient maps throught paths, just select a layer path(ctrl+rightclick), "Create new fill or adjustment layer(the half black half white circle, downsthere at the layers window)" and choose a Black and white gradient map. A new masked gradient layer will be created.

Much more easier imo since I can revert or fix any mistakes without damaging the original picture.

Alright here's all the Tager colors I've done and I'm stopping here for now. Also, I tried to fix the hair on the pink Tager that came with the PSD file. Overall, it's been a great pleasure doing this. ;)

Story mode Jin in battle pose template. A little flawed but eh, can't be bothered with fixing it.

Yea I agree it's quicker, but the gradient mesh gives you more control over spreading color, also you can resize the image and not worry about distortion because it's vector based. I mean it all looks good either way. I was just wondering....

Also it's funny someone requested the same color for Valk that I like. That saves me so much time.....

Okay this took longer than it should have simply because I redid a come parts 'cause of some errors on it, I was just doing tiny "cleaning" up and it made it that I pretty much redid it so yeah. Hopefully it isn't too bad minus an error on it though.
