But I dunno what there is to look down on as far as listing characters in your sig. I really don't.
shtkn Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 i guess it's an oldschool mentality: no one cares about your mains/subs (and in multiple games too!) unless you're actually good, and if you're good then ppl would know your main without them being listed in your sig. again, it's not like if you do it you're instantly a bad person, i just find it gaudy and stupid.

I suppose that does make sense, though honestly not everyone is gonna know who you play if you're good. Also, someone may just not be familiar with you, like new users. But to be completely honest though, I just wanna see that cute Noel ball whenever I post, is that so wrong? :3

They're there because I like them. Same like Luna. I agree with Pwnage that thinking like that is a lame mentality and definitely gives off an elitist feel. That "holier than thou" thing that senior players sometimes have is the one aspect I don't like about the FG community, as it intimidates and really discourages new people from joining the scene. I can see where you're coming from as well, but I just don't agree with it.
