darkblade77 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) Kinda hard to disagree with hundreds of pages of supporting evidence. Edited January 7, 2011 by darkblade77 I can has grammar
WolfCrimson Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 It could work if it were like the BBCS News thread... like, post only useful relevant info or legit questions, or tempban.
Sophisticat Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Meh, who cares about CS1 anyway, CS2 is looking much better all around. No more BS big damage combos into mixup -> death. Besides, the tiers are pretty much decided by this point: Better characters: Litchi, Bang, Hazama, Tao, Arakune, Valkenhayn. Good Characters: Hakumen, Ragna, Carl, Mu, Lambda. Ok to not-so-ok: Jin, Makoto, Noel, Tsubaki, Tager, Rachel. Making an order out of these is useless nitpicking. It would be better if everyone learned the matchups instead of bickering about whether there's a .5 advantage or not. -_-;
huey253 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 uhh that seems okay, but jin and ragna are pretty close in strength and.... Makato is like....really good. like REALLY good.

She doesn't fit in with them at all.
killionaire Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 He was referring to the "already-decided" CS1 tier list, dummkopfs.
huey253 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 i don't get it. Makato isn't bad in CS1 also, if you were refering to the previous chart, Bang was on a tier of his own in S tier. LOLOLOLOL
Sophisticat Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Fien. Revised Matchup Chart Better characters: Litchi, Bang, Hazama, Tao, Arakune, Valkenhayn. Good Characters: Hakumen, Ragna, Carl, Mu, Lambda, Makoto, Jin. Ok to not-so-ok: Noel, Tsubaki, Tager, Rachel. Horizontal placement is not significant. Disclaimer: This matchup chart is 100% correct. There's your revised matchup chart. Let's nip the inevitable flame war in the bud.
OmniSScythe Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 It would be better if you haven't posted it at all, it's seems to just breed dumb shit in response. Knowing the numbers doesn't change the game. It doesn't magically make a matchup better or worse for you. Those numbers are nowhere near as important as knowing the actual matchup, knowing what the opponent can do and what you can do to prevent or overcome it. I guess what I'm trying to say is stop trying, and just play the goddamned game.
killionaire Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 People who take a tier list seriously are on the same level with people who take statistics seriously. Because they're really the same to my eyes.

Yoshara Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Quick question, why do people confuse matchup charts with tier lists?
St1ckBuG Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Quick question, why do people confuse matchup charts with tier lists? They're retarded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VlAahgyXiM&feature=player_embedded
Agent P Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) A matchup chart? I don't think is needed, I mean pretty much any of us know or at least have an idea about it after all. I think matchup charts are usually confused with tier list because charts are a "numeric" way to partially justify a tier position, at least that's how I see it. Also I don´t think is the end for CSI, I mean the gap from CSI to CSII is not as big as from CT to CSI. CSI is basically a game with different mechanics and ONE less character (at least from the console point of view lol). I'm planning to keep playing it alongside CSII because there are things that I really want from CSII but also there are some that I just dont like at all. Edited January 8, 2011 by Agent P
huey253 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 matchup chart and or a tier list would be pointless.
Nini Heart Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 Ok, this won't work. Asking for thread to be closed. Dunno why I thought this could breed something positive. Dumb optimism I guess.
Zidane Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Fien. Revised Matchup Chart Better characters: Litchi, Bang, Hazama, Tao, Arakune, Valkenhayn. I got your fucking revised matchup chart right here Better players: Tokido players: DacidBro Why do they even bother players: West Coast
Eshi Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Ok, this won't work. Asking for thread to be closed. Dunno why I thought this could breed something positive. Dumb optimism I guess.It's because the last match-up chart went so badly near its end, for dozens of pages. It'll take a while for the stigma of that to fade from everyone's memory. I'm sure there'll be a time for it to return, but it definitely won't be for CS1.
Spirit Juice Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Doing well at SBO = your character is auto S tier. Slash Jam was SSS tier thanks to KA2. Pretty sure Johnny and Bridget jumped up to SSS tier too once they got 2nd place at SBO one year. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH America is stupid.
