bbq sauce Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Wind Schar. I like the air mobility for better air to air, which supplements her already strong anti airs and ground game. As well as added damage off anti air hit confirms, and air combos in general. Boomerang is good, and wind tunnels for baiting 6GC at the right range. And of course PUSHBLOCK. Pushblock is way too good for Schar. I fuck with plant, as well, I feel like it's better in some matches and in general I use it vs people who are too antsy, and let them kill themselves trying press buttons during her chain pressure. And, working on a top secret counter pick arcana to use in Schar mirrors when the opp picks plant. Can't speak on that yet.
SoWL Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Well, my favorite Arcanas as of now are Thunder, Flower and Water. Flower helps with my eternal problem of mashing buttons whenever I'm getting combo'd while also giving tons of meter even without setting any flowers. Water is for when I want to turtle and then rush to my opponent with a cover of bubbles. And Thunder simply catches my opponents off guard often enough to land a 360 or two. Basically, Flower is my defensive Arcana, Thunder is the offensive one, while Water can go either way. Overall, I love that each and every arcana has its uses, and you can always spice things up for both you and your opponent. Except Sacred. I still have no idea why would anyone pick it.

Well it makes a portion of your health (based on damage you receive) recoverable when you go into Extend and 623E increases attack and defense for a set amount of time, it's supers are adequate, and in my opinion in Blaze can be pretty powerful if used correctly. It's more of a stat booster, and while regen in good you're probably better off looking at the Plant for that = w= at least Sacred looks pretty :3

That's my usual arcana for mirror matches. Wind arcana seems useless for scharl mirrors, and plant vs plant just feels like stupid Nu-13 mirrors all over again. Also counterhit rock punch 5C super punch does fatal KO damage on scharl, and you get the HP advantage. I'm currently limiting myself to Scharlachrot, Angelia, Lieselotte, and Fiona, but I just can't bring myself to ditch any more characters beyond that.

Ha good games! I'm not sure what happened to the room while we were playing. It kicked everyone out but me. My win-loss count was still there and everything. So strange. My internet had a hiccup I guess?
