I guess they'll show more store benefits in the future.

Also, that Linne and Orie phone card. Haha!

That poster from Imagine is fantastic. Starting to weigh my options now, maybe digital isn't the way to go.

Orie, HNNNNGGGGGG!

Let me know when you figured out how to link your Tenso address to Imagineweb lol.

Hey, a man can dream. I knew it was futile from the beginning.

Somewhat disappointed in the cloth after the godly Orie posters but it's still pretty neat because it has Nanase on it.

Also, almost a month and a half left to go!...starting to wonder if we'll get Nanase gameplay footage before release though ;.;

The header for the OP its dead @hetacom, why not put the clean png instead of the bottom of the post?

Leisureland streamed in twitch, as usual

It wasn't really the usual LL tournament. It was beginner tournament organized by top players like Kyou and Fusemaster. Participants in the tournament needed to have under 1 400 000 RIP

Next regular LL tournament will be held on June 21th.

I've pre-ordered the game from CDJapan with Registered Air Mail shipping. Did anyone order from them before and was their service good?

Late, but yeah, their service has been good for me.  I haven't had any problems from them and received my orders rather fast.

What is it about this game that so many people are getting hype over? I see it mentioned all the time, but I don't know much about it. What's the selling point?

Has the price for the digital version been announced yet? Gotta set up those gameshares

Digital price is 5800 yen.

It's just a new game by French Bread.  It doesn't play like Melty Blood, but there's still some interest because of the developer.  Plus it's always fun trying out a fighter with a brand new cast.

Good devs with new IP, I like the mechanics and chars, but a lot of people are still getting hype while expecting something that plays like Melty/ASW fighters while it doesn't and they'll probably be disappointed.

Damn it, I pre-ordered this on Play-Asia forgetting I would be automatically hit by custom charges. I'll have to get it refunded and just get digital. D:

In my case is just because it looks good, fluid and the cast is likeable. And that's for me, I haven't touched it so I can't talk about gameplay or other stuff.

I've read that the game is something like playing KOF with GG speed (a tad slower to me than GG, but dunno) with the execution of Melty Blood. How accurate is that?

-Some people liked the aesthetics (the "anime-esque" 2D sprites, char design, ost, etc)

-Some people are looking for the mechanics.

It's arcade only for now, so the large majority of people around here haven't played, myself included. So what we say is largely based in what we read about it in wikis and what we saw in videos. Take what we say with a grain of salt.

The game do have chains and the reverse chains of melty blood. But while the game have air movement options (airdash foward and a hyperhop-like command), you don't have so many universal air movement options (no universal double jump, no universal air backdash). Not only this, but the majority of attacks (except projectyles and long range moves) are air unblockable.

So it's a midterm bettwen a "airdasher" and a "ground game". This kind of esque is somewhat rare, except snk stuff (rbff, last blade, kof). So i think it might have appeal to old snk fans or people that are looking for something different from "airdasher" and "ground game".

The game was launched for arcades september 2012, and received 7 patches from then to now. Bugs, infinites, and fine tune in balancing were already dealt with.

-And some people are going on for brand loyalty. It's produced by French Bread, the same guys behind melty blood series and ragnarok battle offline. More recently, they were involved in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax too. Fans want to help them make it big this time.
