Greeting everyone!

So I saw that UNIEL is on pre-order from AmiAmi for 5250 JPY and I was wondering if that's actually how much they charge, or if they charge their own price in dollars.

I ordered BBCP from PlayAsia, so I don't know how AmiAmi does things, but it would be like 10$ cheaper there if they actually charge 5250 JPY.

I'm super excited that this game is finally coming to console. It's probably the game I'm most hyped for at the moment.  :yaaay:

Amiami reduces their prices slightly for everything so yes that is how much they're charging, keep in mind shipping will be about 1600yen (as is all EMS shipping from any site). Why you might ask ? Amiami profits from guarantee purchases which is way they're strict on their "no cancellation" police on orders which allows them to reduce the price so well. Keep in mind amiami ems shipping is a BIT slower than Play-asia Fedex Express shipping however from past experience amiami usually sends out shipping notifications on games the monday or tuesday of the week its supposed to come out so that it can get to you Thursday or Friday of that week.

Yeah, if you pick EMS, you'll get it reasonably soon. I think the only thing I've ordered from them that took until the next week to arrive was BBCP. It has tracking, too, so if you just keep the shipment e-mail (since that has the tracking number), you can keep an eye on its progress and have a good idea of when exactly it'll arrive.

I can't speak for AmiAmi, but every time I've pre-ordered a game from Play-Asia, they shipped it early and it actually arrived the day the game was released. I've even seen people get games a day early from them. But maybe both AmiAmi and Play-Asia do this.

I've noticed a lot of guys are grouped up in this single thread to converse UNIB and whatnot, so I'm posting that we have made forums and separate character threads for UNIEL

http://kusogekings.com/forum/m/19535873/viewforum/3670783

If you're interested in a character that doesn't have anything added to their thread yet, feel free to add and make threads.

I'll be working on Vatista myself with some time once school is over on monday.

When I did amiami for BBCP, I think the game released on Thursday and I got it on Sunday, and then I sold it someone else locally because I bought a digital version instead.

I think some people from other sites got theirs on friday but overall it wasn't great for any site that I could see.

so order online. I'm definitely done with phyiscal copies if I care about getting a game right away.

Still debating on whether or not I want to keep my physical pre-order or just cave and go digital. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they have any type of pre-order bonus, or LE. No signs of anything so far, and it seems unlikely.

For people who have nico premium or don't mind the load times if you don't have premium, this site is good for watching videos for your specific characters. Some people already know of it but just wanted to get more people on it. It's updated regularly and it's a good place to just sit down and watch who you want to watch. The tab after Akatsuki is for combo videos and misc stuff for the characters. The "?" tab is all Youtube links.

I feel like all FG's are pad friendly since you can do macros. I don't see that changing with UNIEL.

there's no awkward inputs for this game that would be weird on pad either with default setup

The most common problem for pad users i find (on default controls) is awkward multiple button presses. UNIB still has multiple button presses for throw, FF, veil off and IW EXS. Throw is A+D which is easy to press without macro if using blazblue-like layout and same with FF since it's B+C. Only weird ones would be veil off and IW EXS, which would probably need macros for consistency.

As long as the game supports macros then it should be fine.

Ahh, I see. Well, I hope UniB gets a good/decent netcode. It would be really sad if it got a terrible one.

my guess itll probably be about as good as the LM one. theyre both pretty nice when it comes to input buffers as games so itll be a little friendlier than other games

I'm hoping an arcade lobby system or something similar to it gets in. More games need to adopt something like that

Also in one screenshot I saw that there are 100+ icons to choose from. And you'll most likely be able to edit a title for yourself.

any idea if this game going to be pad friendly?

As far as I can tell, like those above me stated, it should be fine since you can Macro a lot of the multi-button situations that are universal. If I'm not mistaken, though, Yuzuriha's quick-draw stance is 6+A/B/C and you have to hold that button to maintain the stance and do other inputs while in it for teleports and push the other two buttons for the short-range slashes. Releasing the button gives you the really long-range slash she's so notorious for. Now I've obviously never played the game, so this is just my understanding of how she works. If I'm dead wrong, someone please correct me, haha.

If I'm right, though, she might be difficult to play on pad without crab-clawing or mapping your triggers to be your standard buttons and macro'ing the face buttons. Though if you're mapping all 4 of your triggers to take the place of A, B, C and D, you probably don't need macros in the first place...

any idea if this game going to be pad friendly?

My guess is that it will be like other games

BTW, i assume that not many pad players play with the index, middle and ring finger instead just the thump like i do :v:

Any news on the netcode&online features?

Not yet, but considering that is ASW we can assume that at least it will be at the same level of their other games like BB, P4A, AH3.

I hope that the lobby system of BBCP makes it into UNIBEL
