I really don't know about Makoto's stuff concerning other characters, but I just feel like Mu and Jin's DPs shouldn't be that different concerning rapid. I didn't try to rapid the other DPs during recording except Mu's because, well, it was by reflex ps: not trying to flame you or anything, just want to make sure this info is legit

It's like watching a video of yourself playing and noticing your mistakes, except you're not really in a position to be making mistakes since, well, you're commentating. First time so it's ok, hope I'll get better. If anyone has some advice, please share it with me. I have to say those, those games were commentated in a special way though, since it was Eb vs. Nini.

Brice Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 first impressions on pedro's commentary skillz: pretty good although i'm sure i can do better in french than you :P Eb: wtf, why were you jumping all over the place... i wanted to collider you every time XD. stop jumping against makoto or bait his j.B... which you were never doing (maybe once or twice), and nini always tried (and succeeded) to counter hit you with j.B. it's too fast for nearly everybody except j.D since it's frame1 :D as for nini: it feels good to see my waifu winning, but at the same time you were dropping EVERYTHING!!! be happy i wasnt there, it would've been so easy for me to punish that :3, keep up the good work i guess. that's my opinion so take it with a grain of salt (or the whole pack if you want i don't really care) :P also, recording and commentating is fucking awesome, we need to do that more often. too bad i can't be there tomorrow

Because lol, if we're just 2, probably not worth the trip please confirm your attendance, I'd be opening around 3:45-4PM (if we're enough), and I'll check the thread for the last time around 2:30 PM so please post before that. Also, I was unsure about how commentating should be done in French, so I went on youtube to get proven wrong by Ken Bogard and oh boy was I wrong. How does this guy manage to be so hype without being japanese? Just wow, I'm so inspired. I'm pretty hyped up to have another shot at commentating, I feel like I know what I should be doing more. pochp Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Hype meet was hype, uploading stuff atm, dunno when I'll get it all done, but it's going to take a while. Gotta get more people to come though, having long sets between 2 people may be very good for learning matchups, but at some point IMO the hype dies a bit and I enter autopilot mode (in a bad way). Also, it's less entertaining to commentate and rewatch, I did my best though, and it's good experience. When shit gets real, I'll be ready. Also, since next weekend is LANETS, I'm guessing the recording equipment will shift over there for a few days, I really hope it'll still be at the HQ on Thursday. I'll ask cranky about this. I'll get back to you guys on this. I just think that the fact that the games are being recorded and commentated adds some stress, and forces you to give more effort to not become boring/free.
