If you guys didn't watch it on stream, I got trolled by SKD, and then I was brain dead for my match vs 10stars. I learned a lot of stuff watching Zidane play, so I'm going to add that to my game. For Marvel, I went 2-2. I lost to RyRy, and then lost to Wolverine doing happy birthdays on my Zero and Dante. Smokey lost to random stuff too and then a Phoenix. Stupid random game, lol. For MK9, I didn't even get to play. There were only around 20 preregisters for the game, but 130 people showed up. By 2AM, I didn't get called to do my first match yet so I just slept instead.

Brice Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 thx to everybody i played at ECT. @St1ckbug : i'm sorry i didn't say bye to you, but by the time we left, i couldn't find you i'm sorry but thanks for the games :D @SKD : thanks for the games, even though i was really not that good :P i still am playing cs1 style, and for me IB is still -5 and not -3... so everytime i play i'm and noel's j.4D is completely new to me :P @Braver : thank you very much for the match up exp. playing guilty gear is all about knowing the match up and playing you was the best training you could ever give me :D alright guys i'm back in MTL :P i did horrible in tourney but not so bad in casuals :P i went 1-2 in arcana heart lol i went 0-2 in guilty but, i played a chipp my set winning combo whiffed by a pixel and i lost, but most of the match i was like wtf is this guy, wtf is he doing , then i got bodied by a bridget lol i'll have to learn the matchups... and i went 2-2 in blazblue bleh, i was so much on autopilot i wasn't even looking at the screen at the end... i lost to a hazama, but then again i don't know the cs2 matchup and playing the cs1 matchup gets you killed... and i'm sorry kaeru but i lost to a bang that wasn't as good as you but at that game i was extremely autopiloing like, every time he blockstringed me, he went for 5c overhead and i didn't block it half the time, when i always 360 you for it... gomen but kirbster will be pleased to know that i utterly DESTROYED the rachel i went up against :D (the same guy who completely humiliated me in AH3 :P so it was funny) i'll post my full shoutouts when the thread will be up and lol at kirbster being free not lurking the TO thread lol, thanks leo7 but i know you're a way better pot than me :P need to practice cs2 now.

pochp Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 So turns out the haz player I got bodied by in stickbug's room was zidane, wasn't sure when I last posted because everyone called him by his real name. I also got seriously blown up by SKD, only game I was able to win was against LK's litchi somehow. But yeah, I only played those three in our first night in NJ without knowing who 2 of them were so I went to bed slightly depressed. Now though I'm really happy about it, I can see that I still have a lot of work to do and I'm pretty motivated to put in that work. Not really salty overall, I just realized that I didn't have enough variety in my CS2 experience so I got blown up by stuff I wasn't expecting, didn't adapt to my opponents enough, and autopiloting a bit too much. Guess I'll just netplay more now, instead of spending time in training mode. I still have a lot of improvement to do. And yeah, sounds like NEC is the tournament to go to, it's in December, so save up and prepare your skills for this one, because we have to go to it, summer jam and seasons beatings not so worth it. So we'll probably still go to TO's tournament on july 16th, and probably T12 as well, but I don't think we'll be going anywhere else until NEC. Blade, only me and steb got some games on Justin.tv, I played against a noel and bang, and steb played against a noel and bang. Kaeru, steb got eliminated by 10stars, I got sent to losers by raiza (bang), the bang that eliminated brice was another.... you need to start coming back to meetups Also, where/which site do you suggest I should buy the neutrik rj-45 jack from? Do you have any rj-45 ends left? But daaaaamn why am I so shy/reserved, I would have loved to meet more people, play more casuals =/

NEC is definitely the tournament to come to, Toronto comes down too so maybe we can do some Canada vs U.S Exhibitions. Hopefully we can get more California players next year as well, last year we got Zong to come. You were the Mu player? Zidane told us after we had left the NJ room that he thought you were good but lacked some matchup (Hazama) knowledge.

USA vs Canada for sure, this weekend it would have been me/brice/steb vs LK/Zidane/SKD so it just didn't happen btw good shit running the brackets, biscuits and stickbug. I do them in our tournaments so felt good not having to take care of it. Same for bringing the equipment I'll bring an evo monitor next time, though. @Calm: northeast championships
