Don't press buttons against litchi unless you're up in her face, both in the air and on the ground. That's my personally advice against her, as for you're dropping combos, practice them more?

Bibiquadium Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 It was actualy my only good approach but rather unsafe as well. It's hard to punish Litchi's DP because of the 2nd hit as well. I just must avoid being cornered at all cost, I can't seem to find a way out once I'm in it unless I manage to slip a DP inside his pressure or sometimes a 6C.

When the staff lands, if you hit litchi prior to it landing, won't hurt you. You need to learn to IB/bait it and punish it. It can only be punished up close and more so if you IB it. I just must avoid being cornered at all cost, I can't seem to find a way out once I'm in it Asteroid vision? Wake up DP? Being patient and blocking? Those are just my thoughts though.
Bibiquadium Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I've went throught a lot of testing, even if you astroid vision you can be hit easily, my best way would be to wait till he comes to grab and tech it and manage a 214B or maybe A B/6C but DP remains unsafe unless he jumps for his next attack. I'll try some of the stuff that I've brainstormed on my next match. There must be a way out, there's no doupt. Well, Litchi's control of space is really good, but Vice knows how to make it hurt. ;_; My execution sucks in game now, I'm rusty and haven't really learned Haku's new combos anyway lol. I think I'm going to set my status to "permanently rusty" from now on. I always seem to be in some state of rust no matter what now, haha.

I was 2 or 1 game away from top 8, smh I got props from combofiend and marlinpie @_@. I'll body them in teams tomorrow.
