Kirbster IS Gohan, he's half saiysian, hence why he's the main character of the story. He denies his other more powerful half in order to assert his own identity as in individual and not simply a saiysian. Only when he accepts his other half will he be able to defeat Spark-san's true super saiysian form and his: INFINITE HAKUMANZ.
