IMO, CSE Lambda is arguably the worst iteration of Lambda. I would personally rather have CS1 or CS2 Lambda than CSE.

You can also theoretically burst inbetween her Drive hits, like 5D and 5DD, and it'll leave her stuck in recovery. It's a lot harder to time (impractical), in practice, though.

Lambda is easy for me. You can get her, Sophisticat. She's still hard, ie., can't make any mistakes, but you just have to know how to move in on her.

She's supposed to be S tier this time though isn't she.

I was looking at them to try and figure that out too.

Aigis seems like Lambda, and Labrys seems Hakumenish. Has a meter that auto gains, has slow attacks and does damage, has trouble with zoners, relatively easy execution wise or so I hear.

I was gonna go for Yukiko if I ever played since I semi liked her from Persona 4, but maybe Labrys is the way to go.

Lambda nigga

Her combos aren't ENTIRELY burst safe, just like hakumen. I'm talking about a chracter who is entirely burstsafe from the moment they land 2a to the end of their combo they are burst safe.

Hakumen when he's airdashing he's no longer burst safe, before lambda picks you up in the air generally she's not burst safe.

You can still burst against her just before she lifts you up into the air.

yea the matchup is pretty even now, if both sides know what they're doing. hakumen has a lot more tools (stronger tools at that) in order to get in and punish her mistakes.

I've been doing some research and the characters that might appeal to me best so far are Yu, Chie, Akihiko, (S)Labrys, and Yukiko, which is more than I'd have thought. Going by appearance, though, I think only Yukiko sorta' appeals to me. The others don't immediately catch my attention.

I generally just like power characters like Haku/Slayer, though there are exceptions such as Valk/Order Sol/Jam/Johnny. Strong offense/defence is what I look for mostly. I don't really go for flimsy (low hp) or zoning characters/grapplers.

Blargh, now I'm getting the urge to buy the game and I wasn't at all interested before. Fuck Malaria, Hype is the most contagious of all diseases!

It'll always have its place in my heart, that's for sure. But unless BB3 radically changes gameplay, I can see the franchise shrivel up and whither away. It's got too much baggage and hate in the community despite slowly becoming legit. Speeding up gameplay would do wonders for one, I think.

BB'll be my main game forever for sure, but it's time for a change. If P4A can't do it, then GG for sure in the Fall. It's time to diversify.
