pochp Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 nolan pls stop referring to the city of montreal as "downtown", even wikipedia knows better : "bounded by Sherbrooke Street to the north, Papineau Avenue to the east, Guy Street or until Shaughnessy Village to the west, and the Ville-Marie Expressway to the south all in direct latitude towards the Saint Lawrence River. " Airmaster lives in hochelaga-maisoneuve, I live in cotes des neiges, kirb lives in anjou, and bibi lives in saint-leonard. Downtown is part of Ville-Marie (other parts include chinatown, the old port, the gay village, the latin quarter, etc.). It's not even the same borough/arrondissement. Anyone playing BB tonight? I'll be there.

I would agree if we were talking about the "Heart of Montreal" being delimited by Guy/Sherbrooke/the 720/Papineau. But I'm honest in saying that I consider East of the 13 "downtown" (south of Gouin, at least). That's when you get closer to the heart and building density increases. Even when picking up Bibi/Kirby for NEC, that looked pretty downtown-ish to me. The milieu at least seemed pretty urban. Of course, these areas aren't the Heart of Montreal, but they're still close enough that I'd consider them "downtown" whenever I head down there... even if that's not the official definition. :P

So much randomness it was almost like playing HnK Was fun playing your ky blade. Good luck defending umad from the south. I'll try to catch the stream when I'm not busy
