So far, Niamat, Tad & Patrick (BOOMCUBE) have gotten detailed VSAV sit-down's w/ me. Who's next? Milln, Jackie, Star, Klein, Volpe, Minion, Anne? My only request is that you commit to a character before we start so I can give you character info as well as game mechanics. I wish. I can only play on PSN for now. Though I'm pretty dead set on Jedah now, I might dabble with Hsien Ko.

His GT is V e v i o n and I'd appreciate if anybody would show him some love. Also, he has AMAZING long-dashing frame-traps in the corner. 66 J.lp, J.mp 66 j.mp, j.lp 66 j.lp, j.hk (Hits twice) Mix this up with short hop J.mp cr.lk chans short-Hop, Land, (hp) Throw-OS St.mp & you win. tret_tree Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 So damn happy. @Kyle, what do I do for my anti-air game vs characters like Sasquatch and Talbain that have a hop and a jump, as Rikuo? It seems like LP and MP stuff their hops pretty well, but the same moves seem useless vs normal jump-ins. Minion and Chandler in particular will hold up forward when they notice I'm not doing much to stop them, which is nasty when I'm stuck in the corner. Should I be trying to contest them in the air?
Kyle Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Aulbath's best AntiAirs are special moves. Both Sonar & Gas have HUGE payout even on trade. abuse this and opponent will learn to approach while blocking.
Urichinan Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I've been playing lots of VS yesterday and today, and I've gotta' say, it's more fun than I thought it was. Q-Bee is super fun to play, and I REALLY like her poking/pressure game. Only issue I've been having is placing her st.MK as an anti-air, it feels awkward for me. I know it's really strong though.
ZomB Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) QBee's anti air is the weakest part of her game. s.MK isn't bad but it won't work in every or even most situations. LUCKILY you get a million anti airs to choose from based on the situation. These moves can all anti-air/anti-jump based on the situation, and you kind of just have to get a feel for what to do against different chars. I have it on the PS3 w/ crappy connection, so it'd probably be hard to play online. and I'm a bit familiar with his mixups, though a bit unrefined with them ^.^ I typically just have trouble if they have a solid keepaway game.
