I know I didn't play you guys much but GGs to everyone that I did play against. Need to play P4 more but I love KoF and the guys I get play with the most around here play Marvel a lot.

Might make Chronophantasma or Under-Night the last competitive fighters I play, everything after that is going to become net-play casual games only. Luckily, since Gear will only be costing me 15 bucks it's definitely going on my to-be-purchased list.

Depending on how BB:CP turns out I'll buy it. If it feels like Extend or any other previous iterations of the series or it feels worse then I'm done.

Persona I'm definitely going to stop playing. It's not interesting enough to me.

ugh I sound like Star, but my free time is becoming more limited and I have to make more picky choices.

Still at work, but wanted to chime in:

I will definitely still play Persona. I have no reason not to. I have a lot of fun playing Yosuke versus any character and I just generally like the game. I can understand Naimat not wanting to play anymore, though.

Probably going to drop Kof both as a game I play and as a game I'll host. There's simply no scene here to support it and I'm tied up with work to travel to other scenes, even to Cookeville to play with Arson and G-Ram. I'm a little upset about this and I don't think I'll actually go through with, though.

Future tourneys will feature Persona and Guilty Gear, most likely.

I'm actually going to put more time into learning KOF after playing on sunday. Even though I was getting my ass handed to me I found it more satisfying to play than persona.

I had an idea of how HD could be improved:

I

f they removed HD activation mode when it came to the final round and reward the person with less health at the beginning of the round with a percentage of drive and meter proportional to the amount of health deficit they had I think it would be perfect. Kind of like SCV.

My competitive flame is guttering out. It's like I'm always stuck with option selects and excuses, but even when I'm practiced I'm only in the "zone" like 10% of the time. I feel like it's inevitable that I'm just going to plateau at mid level. I'mma get a new console and train back up in Persona for Final Round/Power Up, but I just don't know anymore. . . I think it's about time to just play and not give any fucks.

In other news, I just found out you can synthesize or extract DMT yourself. Whoever wants to join me, we goin' to hyperspace.

I'm probably dropping Persona, not because I lost and am salty though. The grappler in that game just flat out sucks. Speaking with a GA Kanji player, we both agreed that he just doesn't have the skillset/tools to actually compete. Every single one of his matchups are bad. No pokes besides 5A and 5B. His two FC moves are slow as balls. It's just not that fun to me.

I'll stick with Marvel and SC5. SC5 is dead here but still draws numbers in large tournaments. I considered dropping Marvel, but after placing top 4 at KotB, I might as well stick with it.

Gear will be fun to play in 2 weeks though.

Shout outs time~

Shout outs to Milln, Jason, and anyone else who helped make last weekend possible. It was an awesome weekend, eternal thanks to Milln, and good work in games man. Keep up the Yosuke, even if the scene gets all emo and people stop playing it because Justin Wong isn't sucking P4U's dick.

Shout outs to Kyle, love having you out here and playing with you man, looking forward to next time as well. Thanks for making the trip, and bringing the crew. Also teach me how to fight May please, I am terrible at that matchup.

Shout outs to Mark, that Aigis looked pretty darn scary and I know you have the skill to do work with Bridget if you so choose after GGXXAC comes to current gen consoles.

Shout outs to the scruffy dude who came with Kyle, and I met last time, but I forgot your name man, sorry. I saw you in persona teams and Blitzkampf, but we didn't really talk due to different games and all. Still, respect to you for coming out, always cool having you here man, and next time I might get in some Blitzkampf time and play 'dat Nazi game with you guys.

Shout outs to Skeletal Minion, it was great seeing you again man, and playing casuals with you. Your A.B.A is doing great, can't wait to play it more after the current gen port hits, I hope you come to another tournament or meet up soon.

Shout outs to Blake, keep up the May work, and keep coming out for casuals so I can figure out that matchup.

Shout outs to Slick, that first match was hype, and it was great playing against you man. Shame we didn't get in any casuals, but I hope to next time you come out, Chipp's a fun fight.

Shout outs to Tad, it was a pleasure fighting you in tournament, and I'm looking forward to Gear casuals Thursday.

Shout outs to Phil, making me hyper free. It's always fun fighting you man, and sometime I'll have the matchup experience to block something other than hair car>FRC>aerial. AND I'LL EVEN HAVE COMBOS I PROMISE. <3

Shout outs to Kinetic keeping his Ws and dodgin' me with food, thanks for the SF practice. I really need to learn how to SF sometime.

Shout outs and respect to our local Dirty Bomber For picking up on Gear and Baiken basics so fast, I can't wait to see what you do with your hands on the game.

Shoutouts to Mr. Minionman, AKA he who cannot be named. It was so much fun playing Faust mirrors until 5 AM with you, we should do that again sometime, very good games man.

Shout outs to Bane, nice meeting you and watching you represent a scumbag character, next time you gotta get in on post-tournament games and be less sick.

Shout outs to LordStarSavior, UNiB looks like straight ass. (respect to your tournament play man, we cool.)

Shout outs to Volpe, sorry your PS3 yellow lighted man, and if you wanna just play for fun there's no shame in that.

Shout outs to Jackie, not knowing what finals are and for once not getting to the grand side of them. I still love you, no matter how much you mash DP. <3

Shout outs to Oni Tad and that Abel I forgot the name of, you guys should hang with us anime nerds more.

Shout outs to Ivysaur vs the world, wrecking face in teams AND singles. It was great having you here man.

ZOMB GETS THE SALTY RUNBACK AGAINST JACKIE, WHAT'S UP. Shout outs to you and your Hitbox, good sir.

Shout outs to casuals with Pat. I took a match off you, therefore I feel good about mashing A as Labrys. Can't wait to get bodied by you in GG.

Shout outs to Naimat's muffins, those were seriously delicious and amazing. Your mom is a champion among women.

Shout outs to Saber Marionette J to X, that anime is godlike and Lime is my waifu.

Shout outs to Papstr cracking the SSF4 cabinet to win when I run it back as Balrog. And repping the TN Nazi game scene.

Shout outs to Astaroth, I always love your Hulk man, keep up the mean green <3

Shout outs to eating with Kirk, it was lulz man.

If I forgot anyone, harass me or forever be forgotten.

Since it seems like several of you guys are losing hype for p4, I guess I'll just stick to playing it at a casual level and get into GG when it's released. If BBCP is popular I'll probably get into it too.

What irks me is the amount of people that go to those tournaments that know how to and can play the game but don't. I can't play Persona and don't really like it a ton but I enter nearly every Persona tourney thrown around here because I want to support all of the scenes around here. It just really irks me that people can't show KoF any love to the point that both Milln and Jason have talked about dropping it. Just really fucking annoying.

/Harassment

I guess I'll do my shoutouts now, kind of, there was so many people and names I've forgotten most of them. So I'll keep it basic.

Milln: Major props for putting together and running the tournaments (Along with all the other guys involved). Your Yosuke keeps getting better and better. You always bring hype to every match, and you've got a really great way of boosting up each player's confidence when they get into a match. Keep at it, and I'll try to make it to another tournament soon.

Jackie: It's always fun watching you play, in all of your scumbag glory. You've definitely got major skills with Yu, and it's scary to think how much better you'll get as time goes on. I'm sad I never got to fight you, but there's always next time. CP is going to be amazing, and I think we're going to have a great time derping it out in that. Talking with you is always fun.

The guy that was helping Jackie run stream: I forgot your name, because I only heard it once. You were a pretty chill guy, and I can tell you've got an interest for fighting games. I didn't see you play anything though, so I hope you pick up on a game! We can always use more players.

Tad: Thanks a ton for all the inspiration and kind comments, for entering me in GG and helping me get better in the game as well. It's always a pleasure. Hopefully once I get better at GG you and I can play a few sets.

Star: YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! Casuals before the tournament were fun, and they helped me get warmed up for the tournament. It's fun talking about character strengths/weaknesses with you. You keep getting better with Mitsuru, and you're Sweep > C Bufula oki into throw combos and the like are awesome. They've helped me a ton with Mitsuru. Keep bringing the hype.

Volpe: It was nice getting to meet you in person, even though we didn't talk much. I didn't get to see you play either. I wish you could have been there for the team tournament man. Hopefully next time we'll get to play, and chat more.

Skeletal Minion: It was fun getting slaughtered by your A.B.A in the GG tournament, you've got a lot of potential in that game. Your Labrys is legit, and you totally got robbed when your gear super came out behind me in singles. THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING ME! <3

Phil: You were awesome. Thanks to you and Kyle, I think I'm going to try learning stick again. You helped me learn GG a bit more, and I was a little proud that I blocked Eddie for as long as I did during our matches. Thanks for whooping me in casuals, and I look forward to fighting you again in the future. You really lifted my spirits when you commented on my P4U skills, and you told me I could be a scary I-No once I learned the game. I hope I won't let you down. ;)

Naimat: I only got to talk with you for a bit at the end of the night, but our conversation was great. It's a nice change of pace being able to talk with someone in detail about character designs, match-ups and game design. And I agree, we definitely need to fight one day. We never got the chance at MWC or KotB.

Kyle: It was amazing getting to meet someone who is so well known in the FGC. You're an awesome guy, you brought a lot of hype and skill to the tournaments, and your skills in GG are breath taking. Our matches in P4U were a blast, and you REALLY stepped it up in singles. If Naoto didn't have such a hard time fighting Shadow Labrys, I definitely think you would have beaten me. Your words of encouragement really helped me, and I feel a lot better as a player having someone with so much skill comment on my play. I can't wait to fight you again someday, and hopefully get wrecked by your May in GG.

Isuyaru/Ivysaur: I. HATE. YOU!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though, we've fought some many times on PSN throughout years, and I was really excited when I heard you were going to be there. It was an honor getting completely murdered in P4U by your Chie. You helped me learn the match-up a little bit better. I took what I could from all the chaos. I definitely think you're one of the best P4U players in America. Congrats on taking it all!

Papstr: I don't think was around you for more than three minutes before you had me laughing the rest of the day. Seriously dude, you're a blast to be around. Keep up the scumbag Teddie.

Klein: SUPER OMEGA BEARD MAN! It was nice getting to talk again in person, rather than on Skype. You've continued to help me learn GG, and the Slayer match-up. Your Slayer, even though you claim not to know much, is still really strong. And I'm a bit worried about how good you're going to get when GG comes rolling around on PSN/XBL. Thanks for the sets during the P4U tournament. POWER TO THE BEARD!

Astaroth: GGs for the awesome Kanji matches during singles. You're an inspiration to everyone, I think. You've got great skills, and congrats for getting so far in Marvel. I think you and I are the only guys here who like SCV. We should play someday. (Even though you'll kill me, since I kind of suck in SC)

Sorry to the guy who I thought was Kyle while in the dark, and made the comment about you being the guy I wanted to see play May. That was embarrassing. =/

To all of you who I forgot, I'm sorry that I did. :X There were so many people there it was impossible for me to remember everybody.

Lol. As long as you are in America, Kanji doesn't suck.

Yep.

I think it's about time to just play and not give any fucks.

In other news, I just found out you can synthesize or extract DMT yourself. Whoever wants to join me, we goin' to hyperspace.

Been to hyperspace once. It's awesome. Not going again. Have fun. I left my fucks there, so yea, do it that way.

Gear will be fun to play in 2 weeks though.

This.

Working on shouts, but this beer keeps distracting me...

FUGGIN' CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT WOZ.

Shout outs to you, my friend for coming out and playing with us again! It's great seeing you in person too, and I hope to more often. Also, I know a lot as Slayer, I just can't execute it regularly, haha. Always a pleasure talking to you, and looking forward to next time.

Also since we're doing shout outs:

Milln: I can't begin to say how much I appreciated you letting me stay. I apologize for being unconscious for most of it. I had a blast, and I've already cleared some time up to come back for the big thanksgiving get together.

Klien: Your beard continues to inspire me and I regret not hopping in on Guilty Gear after Saturday.

Pabst: Playing with you on TN Team B was a blast, and even though I was giving you a hard time, commentating with you was just pure fun.

Jackie Chandler: Watching your matches and commentating definitely helped me learn some more about Persona's metagame and just commentating again was a blasty blast.

Yoshi: Watching your prestigious work on the stream was pure gold and almost everything you said made me crack up.

Tad: To say our Kanji match was the best one I had there is such an understatement it's not even funny. Just practicing with you was fun personified.

Star: Talking to you at IHOP was a blast and your Mitsuru came to kick ass.

Volpe: I think it's jank we didn't get to talk too much, but the matches of yours I watched made me respect Elizabeth players.

To those I missed, I'm sorry. I suck at social stuff even in my own culture, and if I came off as harsh, it's just how I am in a competitive setting.

I guess it's shout-outs time:

Kyle and his crew - Thanks for coming down and competing in the tournament, I learned a lot about the match-up from fighting your Naoto. Also want to give another shoutout to you guys for the good time you showed me at the hotel you were all staying at. It was a blast talking to you guys about a bunch of games. To hear that you guys play so many different games makes me remember how limited our community is in terms of the fighters we play, but whatever. I definitely need to plan a trip to visit you guys once I get a job and some cash flow. It's mandatory that I visit you guys' scene now.

Woz - As always it's good to see you bro. Your Shadow Labrys is nice bread man, you have to give yourself more slack. Stop letting the "big names" de-moralize you into thinking you can't win. My first rule when fighting someone is to assume they're a scrub unless I, myself have fought them enough times to say otherwise no matter who they are. It may be a stupid way to approach things to some, but hell, it keeps me from putting too much thought into an opponent and missing key oppurtunities in a match. To be honest, I would've much rather have gotten some BB casuals in with you rather than Persona. Just seeing the game case was enough to remember all the fun and hype times I had in that game.

Skeletal Minion - It was fun playing all those casuals against you. Labrys is definitely one of the harder match-ups for me to adjust to no matter how many times I fight her. So much i have to be wary of, and so much I have to just straight-out yomi. You are solid and I hope to run into you in another tournament.

Tad - We never did get to pick up where we left off on our FT100 but i'll catch you next time...Actually, thinking about it now, I never got to fight you in Gear either when I was sitting down and messing with the game. I'll have to fix that next time I see you.

Phil - Thanks for teaching me some pointers on how to improve my Millia, it was definitely appreciated. I really like her playstyle and her overall speed. Sorry i'm not as hype about Gear as you are but i'm sure once it comes out i'll get to have a casual set or two with you.

Volpe - You FRAY! Lol, nah but I know you were hoping to do much better in P4U but you hadn't played the game in a while so it's kind of understandable. Elizabeth is the type of character who constantly evolves with the game and every new discovery made with other characters. With that said, having been away from the game for so long definitely hurt your overall gameplan with her.

Klein - If I could ever manage to see you around maybe one day i'll be able to catch more than one conversation with you. Anyways, I kind of understand how you feel about UNI and i'm cool with that. I just tend to get a bit bent out of shape when people shrug off games without even giving them a try first. I honestly just want you guys to possibly get the chance to enjoy it too, that's all. Also, GG casuals were pretty fun. I have no idea what the fuck Slayer is doing.

Papstr - Props for Instant-killing Boomcube on stream, that was lolz.

All of the out-of-staters-I-can't-remember - My apologies for not being able to give indivisual shout-outs to each and every one of you but there were so many of you scurrying around it was hard to keep up. Thanks for showing up and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

SHOUT-OUTS TO STREAM CHAT!

Anyone I forgot, this is the most I can do, and or, can remember to do, sorry XP
