Xtra_Zero Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 http://www.neoempire.com/?p=7207 Make of it what you will. I'm tired of being jerked back and forth about this.
Sol.Badguy Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I'd be upset if The new GG was a fighting 3D game instead of 2D. Also it's funny this is all the same stuff they've been asking for like a year haha. GG vs BB would be hype.
SDC Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 http://www.neoempire.com/?p=7207 Make of it what you will. I'm tired of being jerked back and forth about this. How are we being jerked anywhere with this? These are the same answers we have been getting for months now. They are saying the same things. NO jerking at all.
zdravkelja Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Old interview, nothing new... And I really doubt it will be 3D.
qwerty Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 if every other english interview with daisuke hasn't been a hint, every english interview with daisuke is awful
Blade Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 It was recently said in another interview that Arc's opinion on Super Street Fighter IV is that, given they are going for a more "anime-style" as opposed to realism, they chose 2D over 3D, but, as is shown in the PSP version of the game's gallery, they use 3D as a tool to get some of the finer points drawn and animated properly. And given how lacking in popularity GG2: Overture became and how it alienated some fans, I'd say they'll be taking that into consideration for the next GG.
Xtra_Zero Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 How are we being jerked anywhere with this? These are the same answers we have been getting for months now. Yet this interview is phrased as if there is one already in development.
sektr Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 There was just an interview recently saying that no GG was planned any time soon. Yet this interview is phrased as if there is one already in development. That isn't what the interview said, I know which you're talking about. It was very vague and could've been interpreted in many ways.
its iaijutsu Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I think we all need to chill and wait. There seems to be a new interview every month or so and all of them seem to be very ambiguous about the future of guilty gear. Let's just keep on doing what we've been doing: trying to keep scenes alive as best as possible in our area (right now as far as i know i am the ONLY person still playing in my area)and hoping they release AC with online on ps3/xbox. I think we can all agree we don't NEED a new guilty gear as much as we just need the accessibility to fight other people without having to drive for an hour or two play good comp or any comp at all. This isn't like mvc2 or blaz blue where you can use capcom assist and AHVB or tager spam and get wins. You need skill to play GG. Period. There may be cheap tactics in the game but in order to use them you have to be halfway decent. Like I said, let's just chill and see what happens, either way we're still gonna be playing GG.
zdravkelja Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Same thing, again and again.... http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/02/new-guilty-gear-creator-daisuke-ishiwatari-says-it-will-happen-eventually/
GKHiryu Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 If they're thinking of just puting in easy/beginner mode (or both lol!) instead of trying to dumb down the whole system then there's hope.
Kurushii Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 New Interview with Daisuke: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/06/all-about-guilty-gear-with-creator-daisuke-ishiwatari/
Oppai Missile Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Yes, I thought Guilty Gear was dead and gone but it looks like there is hope! BTW Blazblue sucks. GG4L1F3.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 >>Will the next Guilty Gear be easier? No, I don’t think so – it will be a difficult game. But, I would like to implement systems like a beginner mode to help new players get started. THANK YOU, DAISUKE. Thanks for literally bitchslapping that other faggot that said he'd dumb down GG.
Hecatom Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 well he stated in an old interview that he want to keep gg as what it is, a game that rewards you for expending time in it, this interview doesnt contradict that still i hope that they dont remove the frc and sb from the game
