floatwater Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I Lol'd hella crazy when i saw the glitch, and capcom blames it on "Over saturation of fighting games". i understand coding is a pain in the ass but when you have a character doing game breaking shit ESPECIALLY in a fighting game where we have projectile mania we got some major problems here. i wonder what's worse now cookie's excuses or capcoms.
Hecatom Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) interesting read for those who still care about sfxt http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/youre-doing-it-wrong.159930/ i wonder what's worse now cookie's excuses or capcoms. one cannot exist without the other, so i go with capcoms edit http://p.twipple.jp/user/Yoshi_OnoChin "Blanka meets Nishiyama san as making original SF I and president of Dimps. Feeling something going to happen!! ;P" geez, i wonder what? ;P and Edited May 17, 2012 by Hecatom

Blade Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 *is sooo glad he bought Final Fantasy XIII-2 instead....*
NickExtreme1 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Well I'm glad I bought this used, then traded it for Mass Effect 1. Nail in coffin was the Rolent freeze glitch. GG Capcom I still think AEv2012 and UMvC3 are fine though
Vulcan422 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I still think AEv2012 and UMvC3 are fine though A-fucking-men!
Star-Demon Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 How does oversaturation of fighting games lead to your team not closing logical holes in your program such as freezing the game? Did someone say "you know what? I was going to work on the state system today, but there's SO MANY GAMES! I'll just go play instead of work" WEll, looks like I solved it. the guys at capcom are jerking around.
Hecatom Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 i just discovered that the glitch freeze everyone in the room when you do it online

furix Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 why would anyone ever be glad they bought final fantasy 13-2 I am, I put nearly 200 hours in the game and had a blast. Amazing game. However, that is not what this thread is about. Sooo... with that said, please keep it on topic.
Hecatom Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/july-10-upcoming-dlc.163343/
Hecatom Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2012/jul/06/street-fighter-x-tekken-dlc-character-release-date-moved-july-31/ It was announced during the EVO 2012 Capcom panel that the release date for Street Fighter X Tekken's DLC characters has been moved up to July 31, 2012. All 12 characters will be at a set price of $20 or 1,600 Microsoft Points and it was announced that the team will shy away from on disc DLC in the future, based on user feedback. They also went over a short amount of changes coming in the balance patch. Auto-Block and Auto-Tech gems have been changed so they take more meter to use, and they also take more meter away if you block or tech. They are aware of the timer issue, but the dev team is looking for the best solution to make the gameplay exactly what it needs to be. They do intend to fix the timer issue.Quick combos can be disabled with the quick combo DLC, if it bothers you. They do know that accidental quick combos are a problem, and they're working on other solutions.Rolento's jabs cause 2 less frames of block stun, along with other changes.Xiaoyu crouching hard kick phoenix loops can only be done 3 times.Ryu, Ken and Akuma's Tatsumaki Sempuu Kyaku have had all their hitboxes reduced in size. The frame advantage on this move does on block has been reduced by 5 frames for all 3 characters and the moveset has also been decreased.
Vulcan422 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Wow, Capcom actually learning from their mistakes. It's not much now but we'll see what happens.
SolxBaiken Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Wow, Capcom actually learning from their mistakes. It's not much now but we'll see what happens. This is a bit of an asinine comment as Capcom has been working to adjust this game since day 1. Happy that my old Xiaoyu combo will return, sad that Juri's Super damage is getting nerfed (again...)
Osuna Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I think it is a fair criticism. For having been working on adjusting it from day one (and not adjusting their dlc policy) they haven't gotten That far. Some of their issues were some really fundamental problems with gameplay and the Rolento thing was kinda really bad. I can totally see someone critique them for lack of quality control and stubborn application of a dlc plan that no one likes. Or not learning from those mistakes. After all that, hearing that they actually were listening to feedback and promise to use it in the future easily inspires a sense of "I'll believe it when I see it" in me.
MikelAL93 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Now that the DLC characters are released today, I hope to see some combo videos with them featured. :P Also, DLC Character voice actors. If there are any corrections I need to make, let me know: Street Fighter: Elena: Saki Fujita (Japanese)/??? (English; Anyone have a clue on who it is?) Dudley, Cody, and Guy: Same actors from SSFIV Sakura and Blanka: Same actors from SFIV Tekken: Bryan: Tomokazu Seki (Japanese)/Keith Silverstein (English) Jack-X: Kenchirou Matsuda (Japanese)/??? (English; though my guess is Christopher Sabat) Lei: Hiroya Ishimaru (Japanese)/Matthew Mercer (English) Christie: Marina Inoue (Japanese)/Lisle Wilkerson (English) Alisa: Yuki Matsuoka (Japanese)/Michelle Knotz (English) Lars: Junichi Suwabe (Japanese/John Burgmeier (English) Edited August 1, 2012 by MikelAL93 It's confirmed that Lisle Wilkerson did reprise Christie for the game
Vulcan422 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 DLC Character Voice Actors Street Fighter All characters save Elena have their SF4 VAs Elena: Saki Fujita / Karen Dyer (Sheva from RE5) Tekken Bryan: Tomokazu Seki / Keith Silverstein Jack-X: Kenichiro Matsuda / Jordan Byrne Lei: Hiroya Ishimaru / David Jeremiah Christie: Marina Inoue / Lisle Wilkerson Alisa: Yuki Matsuoka / Michele Knotz Lars: Junichi Suwabe / Jack Calabrisi
Blade Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Yeahhhhp...not buying this until they put it on a single Blue-Ray.
Hecatom Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) Yeahhhhp...not buying this until they put it on a single Blue-Ray. but they are disc locked content they are on a single bluray Edited August 2, 2012 by Hecatom
jedpossum Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I remember talking to pasky about the pc version of sfxt. Even though the on disc dlc isn't part of the pc version with just a simple edit on the ripped console files can get them to work.
Blade Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 but they are disc locked content they are on a single bluray So is Continuum Shift Extend...but at least on THAT disc you get a full roster.
Krusiv Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 So if they re-released another SFxT for $80 would that be OK for you Blade?
