Aginor Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) Discuss the match up here. The Good: - 5c easily beats Sledge, leading to good damage off CH - Mu's zoning is a nightmare for Tager, especially when he's under fire from charged steins and command laser - Simply running underneath a jumping Tager to the other side will negate almost all of his approach options, as his ground ones are completely stuffed by 5c and lasers The Bad: - 6c is a projectile, don't use it as a poke or it will get sledged - As soon as you are magnitized this matchup becomes much harder, be sure to avoid Spark Bolt by whatever means possible - Tager's j.2c can bait antiairs, make sure he's in range before letting loose with one - It's while it may be easy to win by "playing lame", don't get cocky, Tager can still kill you for poor rushdown approaches Edited June 3, 2011 by Aginor
C0R Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 First post updated. This matchup is even more in Mu's favor than CS1, and easily one of the worst in CS2, just zone him straight and true.
Remius Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 5C sledge, 2C jump-in's, block spark bolt, lay steins, pop them, laugh your ass off. If he catches you, you're in trouble. Your job is to never let that happen. Never risk starting with 6C, because it's suicide. When spark bolt is charged, only lay Steins in the air out of reach. It goes without saying, if you're magnetized, dont do anything that would put you in his hands.
cookiehours Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Yep, when you're magnetized, you're pretty much brown bread if you do anything risky. I learned the hard way when I first started using Mu as a submain. I'll keep this stuff in mind, thanks.
bakahyl Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 exploding the stones seems to work very well against the low mobile tager, if he sledges through it you get him with 5c
FlyingVe Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Sledging explosions is very, very hard for Tager, as is jumping around them. It why the 6D>4D>214D fullscreen setup is so effective. Because of the new sledge follow-up (has projectile armor now), I often wait until I have 6D>4D>jD(low)/5D set up. That way the additional stien will hit him our of followup recovery.
pochp Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 mmmm dat anti tager tech http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt_V58uNrSA#t=5m44s pretty similar to what some noels do vs tager, didn't think we could do it too.
