This was like day 1 news, No patch, no DLC upgrade, you MUST buy a new retail copy of the game, however DLC costumes and characters bought in the original will translate over into Ultimate.
RadRed Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 GameSpot's doing a weekly breakdown of various Ultimate Marvel 3 characters' six colors in combination with Marvel.com and Capcom Unity every Tuesday and Friday until all 50 characters are done. This week they're doing Hawkeye, Dr. Strange, Dormammu, Firebrand, Nemesis, and Tron Bonne. I love Firebrand's stone gargoyle and Blackheart colors. The Green Goblin one too.

This week Capcom Unity is doing Wesker and Crimson Viper and Marvel.com will allegedly be doing Magneto and Wolverine's later today. Next Tuesday GameSpot is going to be doing another batch of characters as they've been doing. Tuesdays for GameSpot, Fridays for Marvel.com and Capcom Unity if you want to keep up yourselves. Mega Man.EXE please, if not then Classic or Volnutt. Volnutt was fun as hell in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I don't care if he'd be a retread, he'd still be amazing. If it were up to me you guys would get Classic Mega Man, Zero, Tron Bonne and Bass.EXE as Mega Man franchise representatives.

bbq sauce Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Iron Fist looks cold as fuck tbph. lol @ vergil has a better oroborus than Strider, and it's a lvl1. I'll prob run both of them, either together, or if they don't fit well in, then in seperate teams.. but they both look sick. As far as Mega Man, X has hella potential.. Armor upgrade supers, 6 games worth of boss weapons to equip him with. G-shock as a level 3.. Too bad the Mega Man cast for MvC3 already shot its wad with Zero and Tron. :P

And I've never seen his Mugen counterpart but all of his moves and combos were pulled STRAIGHT out of DMC3:SE. Iron Fist looks like a modified Hurricane Polimar (TvC). Not so hyped for this guy, but I know lots of people wanted him.

It doesn't seem as though he combos like other characters do. Vergil = Dante + Strider + Wesker + Dr. Strange/Dormammu. He'll probably be like Akuma and have godawful health to compensate for his extreme flexibility. Also it seems like his Level 3 can only be activated during his Devil Trigger mode.
