- Jump cat hammer's hitbox reaches to Platinum's foot area

- JC hitbox might be wider (reaches behind her?)

- 6A feels like it has less recovery

- 2C has repeat proration

- 6C repeat proration removed

- Swallow has more recovery

- batCH>mami works, confirmed with Jin and Litchi

- Missile special has lower proration

- frying pan damage now 500

- bomb special still equips 6

- CDT won't drop even after two mamis

- CDT minimum damage nerfed to about 950

- TK cat hammer (special?) CH>5C>mami works

Interesting changes.

Swallow moon having more recovery sounds like it'll confuse me, timing-wise when we finally get to play the game stateside.

I actually like these changes, I was never a fan of her doing so much damage, but it looks like she'll still be in the upper region, so that's good.

Buffed 5B is great, as well as all those new combo options. (I loooooooooooooove me some combo options!) But the nerf to her 5A really upsets me, unless they made her 5B like 9f then 5A would still be the best approach option. Overall I'm very excited for the changes and I think she'll be a lot more interesting then she used to be.

I want this so hard. Also is Air Persia still projectile invuln? I wanna pogo Deado Spiku!

yes, Air Persia is still projectile invuln, but only before you attack ifrc.

so, another idea is that since 6C no longer floats, a fatal counter that leaves them standing may lead to some interesting ground attack loops, multiple 6B's for example.

at least one person on JBBS thinks that 5A has not gotten slower, but the fact that no character can no chain more than 3 jabs together is what's making it feel slower

and there's been a lot of comments about being able to 5B>Command throw really easily

Good news, I guess. I have yet to see anyone expect (or even remember) that move.

I may as well swapping around my mains if thing looks great.

considering how good her weapons are sounding, it'll be god like

and thus, a list of some of her item changes from JBBS

【Bat】

5D:Opponent will be blown up and back、and will corner bound if close enough. CH causes a spinning knockdown (but they can etch before hitting the ground)、and will also corner bound.

j.D:will be blown back slightly higher than horizontal、and will corner bound. CH will send them the same way, but will wall bounce back to you anywhere on screen, so followups of Mami or Dash 5C are possible

Powered 5D:same effect as regular bat CH, but might not cause enough hitstun to follow. will (not?) wall bound. CH causes more untechable time

Powered j.D:same effect as regular counter hit.

【Pan】

No change other than that you have time to do a 5C after j.D Pan or Fan

【Hammer】

5D:seems to be no change on regular hit. CH bounces them so high, pretty much any followup is possible (but they can emergency tech?)

j.D:On level 1 hit, you can 2A, but there is no clear use of that yet

powered 5D:emergency techable. can do 2A on CH

powered j.D:Height has no affect on level, can do 5A, 3C or 6A, but not 6C

【Cat Hammer】

5D:Can use dash momentum. CH bounces

j.D:Hitbox is all the way back to her hands. CH causes bounce, but if they were in the air they can tech before the ground

powered 5D:will always bounce, CH bounces higher

powered j.D:same problem as regular with the teching

【Missiles】

No Change

【Bomb】

5D:No change

4D:Throws straight up, comes back down right in front

6D:Throws at 45 degrees. barely goes full screen

j.D・j.4D・j.6D:same as above

powered 5D・4D・6D:same as before. 6D might hit bigger hitboxes

powered j.D・j.4D・j.6D:same as above

Some nice changes to the items, there.

I do actually like the ability to combo off of lvl 1 hammer. Might be possible to use it in the same way that you'd use Tager elbow or something, since you don't have to superjump for level 2/3 to combo anymore, hahaha.

What does it mean when it says you can do 5C after j.D fan/pan? Off of an instant overhead pan, you can already do 5C, so I'm just wondering what it means.

Wasn't it like hard to connect without CH or TK? Assuming you can hit it without the need to TK it?

Yeah, it's impossible to connect with 5C off high j.D pan normally, but it seems like it'd be odd for it to cause the opponent to be unable to tech for so long that you can land and 5C afterwards. xD;

God I love these changes, her ability to combo is going to go through the roof!

I'm really curious about the Bombs, I want to see what kind of potential they'll have for zoning. The small changes might be somewhat helpful, but I don't think they'll change that much honestly.

The changes to her Bat and Cat are what interest me the most though, if the Cat really does groundbounce no matter what during her Install, I can only imagine the crazy corner carry combos she'll get.

the general consensus is that her combo rate has gone down to around 70 percent. that, coupled with the nerfs to her P1 values has hurt her damage a lot. however, with all this juicy item stuff, that almost seems perfectly balanced

So she now hits like a 12 year old girl instead of a burly man? I'm not even mad lol. Especially when her items are buffed so much. Most of the time I play I end up using items and grabs more than her combos. God I'm so bad at BB.

Even if she does end up low tier, it won't hurt me that much because I mained CS1 Rachel for most of her entirety. :vbang:

Wouldn't it suck it the rest of the cast's buffs counteracted hers and made her worse tier-wise than before? Here's to jinxing things.
