If it's like Zero's buster, where you'd just give up the D-button for a bit, she'll be godlike, if its like SoD, it'll be a neat toy.

SolarMisae Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Considering they gave us the option to charge the bombs, use DP midair, yata too...honestly if they didn't nerf SOMETHING she'd end up being Nu-status minus the braindead gameplay. That being said, it seems like they're planning to make her much more solid all around, and am hoping the final build will leave her well off but not too OP. But if she does end up OP I'm just gonna enjoy all the salty tears she'll cause. But still...no one will play her. :D

Absinthe Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Translating (even though they're easily understandable) all the checked combo in the BBS, there's some interesting stuff Uh and I was thinking, 214[D] could be used for dealing with delayed ground tech... Think about it, 6C > 6D~4D > 214[D] and the opponent would be obliterated by dem delayed explosions on wakeup. If it works like this, Mu will probably have one of the best and scary oki in the game, gentlemen

But I agree, With how this is shaping up our already gdlk Oki is becoming ridiculous. + 1 Buff id like to see would be improvements to 236A. I'd like it to have a wider arc and travel slower. I dont really use it as much as I should really.

Far away from the kind of that useless ball of CS1 By catching delayed tech I meant to set up steins, hold down 214D and wait for opponent's wake up. When they do their delayed (since if the others know a bit of Mu matchup they're aware that waking up immediately after 6C > 6D is a HIGH risk...) tech, no more negative edge on D and boom, explosions - lotsa setups in my mind :3c better continue writing down those combos

FlyingVe Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Actually, that 2C nerf isn't insubstantial, its not he end of the world or anything, but it does hurt us pretty bad in a few situations, most notably, meaty 2C and the 2C option select oki.

FlyingVe Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well, it's not like we get punished, you can cancel into 5C or 3C, the problem is, that after doing that, you at a range where you've pretty much given up the advantage, and your back at midrange (which is admittedly very strong for Mu).

And if they're at midrange that means you're still at an advantage... Anyways, I'm a little disappointed at 2C not being jump cancellable but w/e.
