As for 6A on airborne opponents ala CSE, I'm not entirely sure of that. It was said in one of the location tests that 6A was back to CSII (no 6A knockdown combos).

You do not play jin so unfortunately i would not expect you to understand... If you do not understand my reasoning behind those statements then i would prefer it if you did not try to wrap your brain around them.. U main platinum, therefor you barely have a brain. However i will indulge you and address each statement properly. In reality you dont have to block to win a match, let us take the best Tao we know in NA NeoGio0o. You have fought him Moy and im sure it was as free as NYC condoms.. You being the player you are (I hope your Jin is good,, since u Main Plat) lost to Gio who did not block at all. That is should be proof enough that u do not need to block to win in a fighting game. An if someone doesnt care that you are +10, and they still wish to attack... It is due to a lack of respect. NeoGio0o has already stated that he has 0 respect for you Jin players. Therefor he has no reason to block since he has no respect.. Provided that there is an attack that is so positive it forces one to block.. which is about +8 and above the blocker is forced to block.. They may no want to,,, but the game forces you to. So sometimes blocking is given,, but its as i said.. Gio has no respect for Haven, therefor he doesnt respect ANY OF YOU. Yet he would still body every single last one of you. An if u still refuse to except what i have just said as law,, then u are free to play him yourself.... You will get destroyed by someone who has 0 intention of blocking,,, he might not even need to burst. Thats if u feel the need to continue this... Its as i said earlier moy.. Jin's 5c has amazing speed and range making it the more optimal tool to use after a 2D. It is +1 and on IB its -2 however due to distance and spacing its actually still + because certain characters lack the reach/speed to hit him before they are hit. Unfortunatley i do not see Jins potential shooting up the latter any father than learning new OD combos... Hes at his peak already. Sure we may see some optimal hitconfirms later,, but what u see is what u get. An i see a very solid chatacter.. An im not talking from a neutral standing point when referring to his blades being used as anti zoning tools. Lambda is left wide open after a D attack and because jin is jin, any whiffed D is getting punished by D~ ice care. Which in the next installment can be combo'ed midscreen making it all the more effective. Reading an opponent knowing when and where to jump to throw the blade of your choice depending on the sitiation. Im not talking about throwing ice blades full screen after a super jump so chill. However what i am saying is that now, those reads are useless since u lack the proper tools to punish which are the specific ice blades im talking about. Primarily his D~ice blades. Try using 5C after Ragna blocks (or worse, instant blocks) 2D in extend. You will take a 5B to the face. Likewise, I know rachel will stuff this too, as well many other characters. 5C worked in CS2, but in Extend it definitely will not. Also, what Moy said. I barely use those ice blades. It's good that they are gone now and being replaced with something "better" per-se. Many times that the landing recovery actually was the end of me by using those moves. So now I learned not to throw it just randomly, not even worth it sometimes. I still struggle with this. Fucking landing recovery. I'm kinda glad they're gone for the same reason. Now, I can focus on improving my neutral game without spamming ice swords. ------------- On a more serious note, what are Jin's CH 6A combos looking like right now?

Seriously hoping it's not the latter, I was planning to use ODs whenever I land a good starter. I guess we could always just OD before punishing something like Ragna's ID lol.

The idea is to OD the moment you land the punish starter and block the already activated Burst the moment you recover from the OD start-up.

Kinda curious if I can play against you in netplay. I'm able to play against LK with relatively minimal lag, so I know coast to coast is possible. I by far have the best net on the east coast in the anime scene. I never do Tao coast to coast because the connection is always a shitty 2 and the lag spikes are too random (especially on PSN). Not to mention I never complain about netplay for my loses because I find it a really bad excuse and completely avoidable if you stay on your side of the tracks. I'm just about to be done with dinner and if you want I can hop on and we can see how good the connection is between us.
