hyped for air 214D, looks like a mid-screen combo extender. Not to sure how to feel about new sekka, but the yukikaze-esque follow up looks pretty sweet. Any idea what's the current BnB for jin?

i read that 5b>5c>j.2c>j.d>5b>5c>2c>3c>b ice car worked, but i still dont believe that 5c>j.2c combos =/

5c>j.2c already combos in extend, but on select characters only as far as I rmb, so that one I can believe. unless they increased the tech time of j.d, I don't think it's possible to dash 5b after it, jin takes too long to land =\

Actually, you can do j.D > 66 5B and it will work just fine. It's just that the existing combos do way more than 5C > j.2C > j.D > 66 5B stuff.

Phew, thank God you guys reminded me that 5C > j.2C > j.D exists. Jin's mid-screen damage is not as dead as I first imagined lol.

Time to practice them j.d> dash 5b combos then. Still, first loketest so then again i'll wait to a more finalise build to theorycraft his combos. Everything being said though, this new jin intrigues me. Still hoping for 5c>j.b>j.2c ala CT though, now that sekka needs meter to launch. That would really up his mid-screen dmg

edit: fuck me, I just realised jin's corner dmg is so dead now. No dp loops, no rehyou combos, 214D wall-sticks instead of slides. =\

I'm hating this wall stick crap. It means that the closer you are to the corner when you use a wall stick move, the less time you'll have to follow-up. In the other hand, if you use it a bit far from the corner, you'll have more time to follow-up.

1st loketest, doubt most of the stuff will stick. jin's corner game is dead anyway, 214D wall-sticking isn't that big a deal.

lol we'll never get it back. It looks really fast but I'm sure that's because the game is overall faster and IIRC, hitstun is reduced so yeah.

Yeah, I don't think wallstick is a bit deal either. We'll all get used to it and find ways to use it. Besides, its a loctest, things might change by the next one.

Actually this holds true even with wallbounces because wallbounces force you to crossunder them in the corner. For example, Ragna can link 6B after 623D 236C 236C wall bounce if he's only close to the corner, whereas in the corner he's forced to do dash under 5C or such.

It actually does seem pretty similar, I guess we'll have to wait and see. At the very least, we won't have to do that silly cross-under crap.

Fenrich turned on the CT switch...he fucked up and OCVd every team he played and i never got to see his teammates (if they exist), almost fooled me into thinking Jin is an amazing character or something.

Jin is an amazing character. Although not beating a ragna does make me doubt that, whether he was just having a good day or Jin is actually top tier.
