Arcknight Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I agree with you Thunder. I like CSX a lot more(though the entire idea of it being called such is underwhelming). Also, nice avatar yet again Cor.
cookiehours Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Be awed by charged explosions in HD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufxATugDqss Hype traaaaain.
Nemesis Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 horrible noob mu but still nice vid Didnt - C0R suggest CSX like forever ago? ... that charge does look.... nice, and that fatal J.2C . Finally I can say im excited for some of these changes.. but still too many buffs @_@ ...wait did SoD look alil slower to anyone else.. am I missing something? (maybe the player just held the charge everytime...)
YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) I hardly ever use Level 1 SoD. On Netplay people freeze under it with a crouching barrier so there's another habit I've fallen to. (Should be an overhead Fo'Sho) On the other hand, I honestly believe when we hit a Clean 6C in CSE, Mu will become 10x Scarier. All about the Oki, Baby. Edited October 11, 2011 by YukiBlue
Nemesis Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Interesting of u to say but that mu was choppin out SoD as combo finishers and that's what i thought worried me. Slower SoD animation makes it wicked easy to DD counter on IB or w/e and I see that already all the time.....when I happen to forget my opponents heat. also I use lvl 1 swords all the time for quick choppin of primers Sometimes I feel like the only mu player on netplay these days which is confusing due to the activity of these boards. Everyone else Must be on psn
Cryingvoid Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 If I am worried for my SoD to be punished or beat, I do not use it at all. She's got pretty nice options besides it. e.g. 3c - j.2c will beat the hell out of everyone who is trying to beat your SoD on its first frames (like hell's fangs and other fast moves).

YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Meh, It charges to 2 before most people can ever react in some blockstrings. Losing SoD Lv 1 Primer break sucks. But we can adapt easily.
BloodyRootBeers Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 lvl 3 takes a while, lvl 2 doesn't break primers either =( At least it still takes 2 primers at max charge, time for some dedicated guard break setups
YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 lvl 2 doesn't break primers either =(FUCK THIS GAME
MashThat5A Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 They really took the nerf hammer to a lot of the primer breaking stuff in CSX. As a Ragna player, I'm not gonna complain about that.
YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 The Ragna matchup is Momentum based now, and the fact Ragna lost primers like some Ghetto Bitch really helped that matchup. But without SoD Primer break shit's going to be a bit harder. Still, It's not like we can't keep you out as it is, Yo.
MashThat5A Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Meh, if anything I'll switch to Mu and just do mirrors. and get killed anyways
YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Pick Mu up. You know you want to Main her and mash 5C MashThat5C
MashThat5A Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I've been playing around with her a bit and I've decided that I am gonna pick her up. She's so much fun to play. Yo, my name was a shoutout to CS1 DacidBro, so if anything I need to change it to MashThat6D.
C0R Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 But without SoD Primer break shit's going to be a bit harder. I already have a full break setup for CSX.
MashThat5A Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I already have a full break setup for CSX. It's stuff like this that convinced me to pick her up.
C0R Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 It's stuff like this that convinced me to pick her up. She can do anything you can imagine. It's the power of the player that can shape that idea into a weapon.
Nemesis Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 With only 2 moves to remove primers and one of them taking 2-3 seconds... This I'd like to hear about, although after watching that new vid landing bomb on wakeup should be easier than ever. I already use habakiri like it's goin outta style
YukiBlue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Bomb on Wakeup is shit Tier. Taking 4K From Wakeup is Mid Tier. Killing the opponent from a single knockdown and a bad Techroll resulting in 6K? - CSE Tier.
MashThat5A Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I see more Mu's in sigs nao. Wut. Oh my.. Hi.
C0R Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Sadly, it is confirmed that Air DP is in CH state for the entirety of the recovery, unlike the loketest where it wasn't at all.
pochp Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I don't think that's very sad, it might not make that big of a difference. A punish on an airborne opponent doesn't always need CH to hurt. Then again it depends on how many recovery and/or CH frames we get once we hit the ground...
