C0R Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 Whats this...I'm gone for like a day and suddenly there are so many people in here. She's always been the same character, people are just now starting to realize it.
SolarMisae Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 She's always been the same character, people are just now starting to realize it. I wonder if she'll become a highly played character now...
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I wonder if she'll become a highly played character now... Nope.
pochp Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 To make the conversation more substantial, after reading the setup thread, what is it meant by mid/low/high loop and how do I generally lead into it? this: The low loop is: 2b > 5c > 2c > j.2c The mid loop is: 2b > 6a > 2c > j.2c The high loop is: 5c (air hit) > 5c > 2c > j.c > j.2c > j.6d > 2b Keep in mind that the setup is affected by combo proration, and the height at which you hit your opponent with j.2c the low and mid loop are what you can do after a combo that leads to (corner) 6a j.2C j.d ... High loop is a way to start your combo if you're close to the corner but too far for 6a j.2C j.d... it's inferior because it doesn't place the stein on where your opponent will tech for a 214d setup, but it makes your 236d setups more effective so it's not a big loss. against some characters (makoto, noel, platinum, rachel iirc) you have to do 2C sj.2C I think. Low loop (and mid loop? didn't try yet) are really hard on makoto, so you could do 2b 6a j.C j.2C to finish your combos, but you can't otg 6a afterwards.
Halcyone3 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I wonder if she'll become a highly played character now... Hopefully not, i hate this mirror
YukiBlue Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I wonder if she'll become a highly played character now...Mu is the worst character in the game because I can't press D and get some flashy straight up damage attacks.
MashThat5A Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Mu is the worst character in the game because I can't press D and get some flashy straight up damage attacks. Yeah, Mu, Carl, Tsubaki, Rachel, Valkenhayn, and Hakumen all suck.
YukiBlue Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 You forgot Platinum, she is so shit. And her Heartcar is broken, it doesnt cross up with +5 FA. Anywhom. Baiting Carnage Scissors will be so easy now. I can see people buffering CS so I might just do 6A and fake that shit out full screen.
MashThat5A Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Honestly, the only thing I would use Carnage Scissors for in the Ragna-Mu matchup is command laser.
Lord Pwnge18 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 She's always been the same character, people are just now starting to realize it. I actually wanted to main Mu since I bought CS1, but I didn't get around to it until the CS2 patch came out.
LuminAbyss Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I use Carnage Scissors all the time, all the ways, in all the ways. It'll be like "Yo Let me just back dash and bait dividerFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" And I'll just be like
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) Mu is the worst character in the game because I can't press D and get some flashy straight up damage attacks. BB3 Mu:2D now shoots invincible laser. Can combo for 6k. Edited October 12, 2011 by ThunderboltZ28
cookiehours Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Hopefully not, i hate this mirror You're not the only one.
Zeromus_X Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 "Oh man the other guy's tryin' to set shit up" "Fuck they know I'm trying to do something" *6C* *6C* "F-Fatal!!" I need to learn how to make gifs.
excelence Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Well at least they end up on the worst position melee range in the match...
C0R Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 So I knew, but I'm curious who else is aware that the 2c otg works in cs2?
SolarMisae Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 So I knew, but I'm curious who else is aware that the 2c otg works in cs2? I knew it was possible to OTG with it in CS2 but as far as I was concerned it wasn't optimal? Sorta like 5C OTG etc.
C0R Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 I never listed it in the optimal combos because from what I can tell it's character specific, whereas 6a works everywhere and does just about as much damage. The things you find while making combo videos. Oh yeah I got Tari's HDPVR.

The things you find while making combo videos. Oh yeah I got Tari's HDPVR. Yeah, thats what I thought. Thus why CSX version looks hype. It seems like it's no longer character specific, plus we'll STILL have 6A OTG. I see no downside to anything in CSX so far. Also, good...I want dem vids you've been promising since foreveeeer.
LuminAbyss Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 The things you find while making combo videos. Oh yeah I got Tari's HDPVR. Did you know Carnage Scissors has height, character hitbox, and counter-hit specific links for meterless comboing? If only it was optimal.
