Bang has retarded shit combos too (5B 2B 6C IAD j.4C fire punch does a fuckload of damage and has ridiculous corner carry), but what is the point of all of these stupid posts? If you think that Ragna is retarded then stop playing him, personally I don't think I'm ever qualified to say Ragna is too good until I am capable of beating every player in the game which is obviously not the case now.

I don't think Ragna is retarded. I think he's boring. He's strong, but he's boring to play with. IMO. I gave reasons as to why I think so. And I asked if anyone feels the same. I don't play much BB currently, but when I do, I've noticed that I pick Ragna much less, and pick Hakumen more.

I kinda feel the same way, been trying different characters.

We've been playing basically the same character for 2 years, so I'm not surprised that someone would eventually get bored.

Karma of a beginner character I guess, because you know he's supposed to be easy to play and all.

Edit: Hold on a sec, 2A has had a hitbox buff, but I don't see the point of it. Check it out yourselves and you'll see what I mean.

Ragna didn't change enough to warrant him being any more fun or stale to play.

If he feels boring, it's probably because he didn't change much. CS2 Ragna felt fun because he was really different from CS1 Ragna. Not because he took more effort or anything.

But if you love Ragna for being Ragna, then it doesn't matter.

How about that P4U guys.

P4U is probably not gonna be as great as people think.

Yosuke looks like a easy to pick up character, and I'm not interested in anyone else so I guess I'm not too excited about it.

That 2A hitbox change means 2A doesn't get low profiled as much.

Looks like it can beat Tao's crawl now, great.

I like Ragna as a character. But about the change thing, nah man, I definitely feel I would have more fun if I was playing CS2 Ragna than CSEX Ragna in CSEX.

Huh I never realized the 2A hitbox change, cool.

I do think Ragna's combos were more stylish in CS2 (mainly midscreen DS stuff) but other than that I have more fun with CSEX Ragna. He's not the most interesting character but I like him and probably won't ever play anyone else. Unless we get Bloodedge or something =P

He's bound to have some new moves in the next game. Also isn't he missing an arm now, story-wise?

Kokonoe made him an arm out of flesh remaining from Lambda or something.

Fingers crossed for a Gunblaze type move.

Wild Throw, come on people. I don't wanna hear the excuse of "he doesn't need it". He doesn't.

But it would be awesome.

Besides, a lot of other rushdown characters have it. Outside of grapplers, whoever really needs a command grab?

WHY am I getting counterhit by Ragna's 2B or 2D if I am throwing out 6D?

It's supposed to be foot invincible from frame 1 for quite some time, right?

There is something I do not know or am doing wrong, obviously.

Please enlighten me.

Foot invulnerability starts at frame 10.

Kinda wondering how someone is hitting you with 2D if it wouldn't hit from frames 10-25. Are you running at them and trying to 6D? I mean it's not illegal, but it's just that 6D is slow to start.

Naw I'm testing it in training mode.

Setting the dummy Ragna to 2B or 2D and I'm trying to 6D through it.

And are you talking about the wiki?

This is what it says on the wiki-

"Ragna hops into the air and strikes with his sword over his shoulder. 6D can only normal cancel into j.D. Forces aerial state on opponent. Invulnerable to lows from frame 1. In the air from frame 20. Steals 200 life on hit or block. "

I assumed the wiki was the place to go for frame data, yo.

Ah, I see. Still, I woulda thought the wiki was going to be boss.

Well you can also check the attribute of any move and see where it hits if that's what you were testing. 2D has foot attribute and of course 2B does too.

whoops, i forgot to change that on the CSEX wiki page.

6D is not actually foot invul from frame 1 in CSEX. it was in CS2, and they decided to change that for the update.

it feels so basic without options to expand the metagame ,not hyped at all

I'm looking forward for GG nextgen release,I never played it except for like 20 matches but it felt great

taokaka wakeup "move that low profile her" beat my 2A mash yesteday lol,I was so mad because she was in the corner without meter and without burst so I went for 2A mash in order to catch the roll or put her in blockstun and I died rofl
